On my last visit to Shopper’s Stop, I stopped at the Faces counter. These cute little pots of nail color really caught my fancy. I love my nail paints to be tiny, so I can finish them up before they thicken or dry. For the price tag, these seemed so amazing and the colors were good too. I picked up a few bright colors and a couple of basic ones.

My Experience with Faces Splash Nail Enamel Watermelon, Ballerina, Coral Island, Plum and Floral Dream:
Coral Island: This is my favorite as it is a popping color and very opaque. This is a mix of coral and orange and seems quite summery and spring-like. I like the consistency and you can stop at one coat since it is very opaque. It has a glossy shine but no gel-like feel to it, if you are gel nail polish lover. It lasts me 4 days plus without chipping, the feel and finish is very regular, but I like the opacity a lot. Overall, a beautiful orangey coral to own in a tiny bottle with an affordable price point. Ballerina: This is another favourite of mine for being a n*de pink color. It is such a pretty color for fair skin tones and it is quite opaque too. You can stop at one coat easily. I love the high shine formula on this and surely recommend it to all. In two coats, it lasts me 5 plus days. It dries in a minute and half or so and does not bother me much later.Rating: 4.5/5
Plum: This is the least favourite of mine. It is a brown color, but it is very sheer for my liking. It has to be coated thrice to get some brown but beyond which I do not like the color it imparts to my nails. May be I should try using it with another darker color underneath. I am not fond of this brown but if you like browns with some glossy shine, you can try this since it is a tiny bottle. Rating: 1/5
Floral Dream: This is a deep mauve color, but again, it’s medium to sheer. I love the color but I hate the consistency and the fact that I have to layer it up. I like how it dries fast and has a nice shine to it. The brush is nice and wider than other paints. If you can, use three coats and make it last for 7 days since the color is really pretty. Rating: 3/5
Watermelon: This is again a very nice pinky red color. I like it a lot since it is a blend of red and hot pink. I like how thick and opaque this goes and you can stop at one coat. I love the color for this festive season and I like the gloss it has. I like how this color can be layered into a gel-nail polish look since it is high shine. It lasts well and doesn’t chip much before 5 days. It dries fast and has the same wide brush like the others. Rating: 4.5/5

- Plum and Floral Dream nail paints are sheer, I don’t like them much.
Apart from that, I do not see much trouble with these little bottles. Try some shades next time you are out shopping.

Definitely, but I will make sure I pick only thick, opaque shades unlike the plum and floral dream shades. These are good nail colors at an unbeatable price.
