My Experience with Faces Ultime In Vogue Pro Long Wear Matte Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in a long and sleek tube packaging. The matte black tube looks classy. The cap of the lipstick is also of the same color of the tube and shuts tightly with a click sound. The base of the tube bears a color-coded sticker at its base bearing the shade number and shade name. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
The shade “In Vogue” is a beautiful deep red shade. It looks like a beautiful brick red shade. The lipstick has warm undertones. It would flatter almost every complexion. It is surely not a daily wear shade and definitely not for weak-hearted people. This is a deep vamp-y kind of a shade. It is a good winter shade. The lipstick has zero sheen or shimmer. It brightens up my face instantly. The pigmentation of the lipstick is intense and insanely pigmented. It gives a bright pop of color to the lips in just one go. You will not need a second swipe to intensify the color. I use a second swipe to even out the edges.
The texture of the lipstick is smooth, creamy, and glides on easily. Being a matte lipstick, I really love the texture and formula. It does not dry out my lips, in fact the formula is moisturizing and hydrating. It keeps my lips hydrated for a long time after application. Since the lipstick is a bit creamy, it transfers a little. It feels so light and comfortable on the lips. It does not bleed or smudge. As, it is a matte lip color, it clings to the dry patches of the lips. so, prepping the lips is mandatory.
The lipstick lasts for 6 hours on my lips with slight sipping. Though, the color loses its intensity with a full meal, I can still see the color on my lips. Removing the lipstick is a little difficult. It leaves a dark stain behind, which is a little difficult to remove. I need a good makeup remover to take off the lipstick easily. Overall, the shade is vibrant and worth the price.
