My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Concealer:
The Faces Ultime Pro Concealer comes in a nice clear tube with a black screw-on cap. The tube comes packaged in a black cardboard box which bears the product related information on it. The quantity is very less; it contains only 3.2ml of product. It is almost half the quantity of other concealers available in the market. Also, the price is a bit high.
The concealer comes in 2 shade options; I chose the shade “Medium” for my skin tone. I have a medium-tanned complexion and this shade suits my skin tone well. Also, I am very disappointed with the shade options as it won’t work well on women with dusky/deeper skin tones. The shade “Medium” is a nice beige shade with warm undertones. It doesn’t leave a white or grey cast on the skin which I like.
The concealer has a good pigmentation and it provides a medium coverage to my skin. It hides my dark circles nicely and imparts a bright, fresh look to my skin. Also, it covers dark spots to a little extent which I like. I don’t have many imperfections on my face, so it works perfectly in providing a flawless base. Also, the product is buildable and doesn’t look cakey on the skin. Overall, the concealer provides a natural look to my face.
This concealer has a very soft, smooth texture that blends magically into the skin without any effort. I use a makeup sponge to apply the concealer; it blends quickly by providing a seamless finish to my skin. However, it doesn’t provide that perfect matte finish, but it adds a very fresh glow to my face. The concealer never feels dry or patchy on the skin. Also, I love its lightweight formula.
I have oily skin but, my under eye areas are quite dry and this concealer provides a decent hydration without making my skin oily. Also, I set the concealer with a compact powder. Otherwise, my T-zone starts getting a little shiny after a few hours.
The concealer works nicely and it never settles in between the fine lines. The best part is, it looks very natural on the skin. But, it won’t work well in concealing severe dark circles or acne scars. Also, it stays nicely for around 5-6 hours after which it starts fading away. Overall, I like this product but, I am disappointed with its shade options and also, I am not happy with the quantity and the price. Otherwise, it is a good, natural-looking concealer.
