My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Creme Fantasy Lip Crayon:
Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The lip crayon comes housed in a regular black colored cardboard packaging. This outer carton contains almost each and every detail about the product. The crayon has a color-coded body with a matte finish. The color-coded body makes it easy to spot in makeup stash. These are the jumbo retractable crayons that do not require any sharpening and are quite easy to use. The crayon has a clear cap that needs to be shut tightly else it may come off. The crayon has a sticker at its base that indicates the shade name, shade number, shelf life etc. Overall, the packaging is decent and travel-friendly.
The shade “Fantasy” is a nice pinkish n*de shade that suits my skin tone perfectly. It does not wash me out at all. This range has some pretty nudes in the collection. They have certainly one shade to suit every skin tone. This one has turned out to be a perfect n*de shade for my skin tone. The color is totally shimmer-free. The formula is amazingly pigmented; just two swipes are good enough to give that perfect opaque coverage. It hides the pigmentation of my lips nicely. There is no fragrance in these crayons. So, it is a pro for people with sensitive noses.
I am in love with the texture of these lip crayons. These are super smooth and creamy in terms of texture. This one glides on the lips like butter. Hence, there is no tugging or pulling of the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. It does not feel heavy even upon layering. But, due to the creaminess, the color creases a lot upon layering. The creaminess of the product makes it transfer crazily. The formula is nice and moisturizing. It keeps my lips healthy and nourished. It does not dry out the lips.
The color never clings to the dry patches of the lips. The crayon has a decent staying power. It easily survives light snacking with minimal fading. On the other hand, a light pinkish tint can be noticed on the lips after having a full meal. There is a little feathering of color from the corners after a full meal; this may be due to its creamy texture. The crayon is very easy to remove and it never stains the lips.
