I have fallen in love with eyeshadow crayons. They are easy to use and they last really long. I am so addicted to such crayons that I can create any look I want with them. So I picked up a few eyeshadow crayons by Faces. Today, I am going to talk about the shade ‘Last Christmas’ and it is one of the most beautiful shades I own. Read on for more details.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Eyeshadow Crayon Last Christmas:

Packaging:
The eyeshadow crayon comes in a color-coded teal packaging with a clear cap. The color-coded pencil makes it easy to identify. The cap is tight, but still there is a risk factor with the cap; otherwise it is easy to carry around. It is a sharpenable pencil, but the company doesn’t provide any sharpener with it. I don’t understand why such expensive products don’t come with a sharpener. It becomes really messy when I have to use the same sharpener for different shades. But the pencil is quite strong and a lot of product doesn’t get wasted when I sharpen the pencil.

Shade:
Faces eyeshadow crayon range has 6 different shades and this ‘Last Christmas’ is a beautiful teal blue or turquoise blue shade with fine teal blue shimmers. Shimmer doesn’t look overpowering and this shade is one of the most beautiful teal shades I have. Shimmer makes it a shiny eye shadow which looks absolutely gorgeous on all skin tones. I can create some dramatic looks with it. The shade is amazingly pigmented and only one swipe is needed for the true color to show.

Texture:
The crayon has a super smooth creamy texture that glides on my lids without any tugging and the application is perfectly even. It blends easily with a brush and also with fingers. But it dries out within a few minutes of application, so you need to work quickly before it settles down.

Once it settles down to a nice texture, it doesn’t smudge throughout the day. The formula feels light on the lids and I can build the color up in many layers. The shadow doesn’t look patchy and it never makes my eyelids dry. It keeps the lid soft. I really like this texture. I can use it easily on my lower lash line also and it doesn’t transfer either. It has never irritated my eyes.

Staying Power:
It is totally a smudge-proof and waterproof crayon shadow which actually stays all day long. Without a primer, it stays on my eyes for more than 6 hours and it never settles into the fine lines and doesn’t crease at all. This particular shade is easy to remove with a makeup remover wipe. It doesn’t need any extra efforts.

Overall:
I love the quality of this crayon shadow. I am so impressed with the pigmentation and this beautiful shade complements my brown eyes well. The product is totally worth the money!
