My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Freak Out Longwear Matte Lipstick:
Let’s begin the review with packaging of the product. The lipstick comes is a sleek and long matte black plastic tube. The lipstick closes with a matte black tube, which fits quite securely making an audible click making the lipstick purse friendly. The lipstick has a color-coded sticker at its base mentioning the shade name and number. Overall, the packaging has no flaws and it is absolutely travel friendly.
I haven’t tried many orange lip colors, so I was keen to check out this very vibrant orange lip color. The shade “Freaking Out” is a bright orange lip color with strong red undertones. The shade is very bright and definitely not for weak-hearted people. This vibrant orange lip color brightens up the face instantly. This is a gorgeous summery shade. The lipstick does not contain any shimmer. The pigmentation of the lipstick is just mind-blowing. One swipe of the lipstick is good enough to impart that semi-opaque finish to the lips. The formulation is so intense; hence the lipstick imparts good opaque finish and hides the pigmentation of the lips nicely. The lipstick looks slightly creamy initially and sets to a nice matte finish in a few minutes.
The texture of the lipstick is very smooth and creamy. It glides effortlessly on the lips without any tugging or pulling of the lips. The lipstick feels so light and comfortable on the lips. The lipstick does not sit on the lips. It has a moisturizing formula, which keeps my lips moisturized for several hours. But, after having meals, my lips feel so dry. Being creamy in texture, this lipstick tends to transfer.
The color lasts for some 5 hours or so on my lips with a little fading. The lipstick stays in place and does not bleed. The lip color easily survives little snacking or sipping but does not survive heavy meals. It fades away from the inner corners of the lips and settles into the fine lines of the lips after a meal. It leaves a slight orange stain behind, which can be easily taken off the lips using a good makeup remover. Overall, I am quite happy with this orange lip color.
