I have always been a big-time fan of highlighters since my skin never glows naturally. I love a highlighter on my face because it actually gives that celebrity-like glow. While Faces already had their liquid highlighters, a powder one was missing. So, they finally launched a powder highlighter. See how this one worked for me.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Illuminating Powder:

Packaging: The faces illuminator comes in a basic black box like the other Faces products. They have launched just one shade which seems like a universal shade because women with Indian skin-tone would prefer this shade. The illuminator comes in a compact pan which has a see-through lid and its name written over it. The pan is handy and closes with a click, so this illuminator will not open on its own at any cost. The illuminator is priced at rupees 650, which is really good since most of the highlighters or illuminators cost more than this.

Shade: The shade is a gorgeous subtle gold one. It is warm yet not very bright and showy. It has small illuminating particles in gold. So it is basically a beige shade with warm gold particles that create this beautiful shade. The gold colour does not look OTT at any point. In fact, it looks very natural on my face. It is a perfect shade for the Indian skin-tone.

Texture and look on the skin: The texture is fine and powdery which is why it blends with the skin very nicely. It is not chalky or gritty on the skin at all. But it looks really bad and powdery if you apply it on a dull face. So make sure you prep the face with scrubbing and apply the base and then only apply this. It does not cause a lot of fall-out in the pan. But the pigmentation could have been better because I have to swipe it 5-6 times to make it visible on my face.

It gives a really nice glow to my face which makes my skin look healthy. It works the best when used with other makeup. It gives my cheeks and face a nice definition, making everything look perfectly shaped. It gives that glow with a celebrity style which makes me look very trendy. This illuminator totally does all that it says.

Staying power: It stays for around 4 hours on its own and an hour more with a base beneath. It starts fading in the 3rd hour itself. The staying power could have been better since most of the highlighters last long.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Faces Ultime Pro Illuminating Powder?
I will use this without any regrets, but I wouldn’t recommend this or buy it again since I have surely used better highlighters.
Conclusion:
Their liquid highlighters work a lot better than these. Those are excellent.
