So this one is a true fall color, it is a rusty red maroon and a very deep shade, sometimes it feels like it has a red or brick undertones,another light makes it look like a maroon or berry toned one.So over all this is a classic deep shade and would look very vampy if not worn appropriately.

The lipstick is slim but I am not happy with the plastic wuality they have used, for 599 they could have done better and mind you 600 is not a small amount for such a slim lipstick, never mind this is a long wear lipstick but anyways. You need to open just a bit and apply it an it is nice to fill in the lips since the tip is so tiny, it is very pigmented so you dont need to go on an on.

Having said that, the shade is so bold that I dont know where to stop, the shade would look uneven an settle in the lines,but if I go for more than one swipe it really gets darker, so I think blending with the fingers is not a bad idea. Or you need to smile and keep lips taut and go in the lip lines as well.

But the shade is matte and feels a little sticky initially, and then it feels fine, two swipes will last you through meals, and tea and snacks so it is long lasting no doubt, you can count on it for 5-6 hours easily and it makes this lipstick great for office. It sets and does not bleed at all, and stays put, but might transfer very little but that is not a problem at all.

Though it is matte, I dont think this is drying at all, it feels pretty comfortable but your lip lines would be more prominent with this one, but it does live upto its claims of being long wearing, and stays put, has many shades to choose from. It is water proof and creamy and high coverage like mentioned, but i think the packing could have been more chic.Overall, you must try one shade for 599, it will not disappoint you if you love long lasting lippies.
