I am back with another neutral shade from the platter of ‘Faces Ultime Pro Lip Creme’. This one is called ‘Margarita Punch’. Let’s read more about it.

Product Description:
Ultime pro lip crème is an absolutely super soft, smooth and moisturizing lip gloss that promises one stroke hi shine coverage. It is completely opaque, highly pigmented, does not transfer, bleed or feather and stays on for hours at a stretch. Inspired by the colors of mesmerizing cocktails, lip crème gives you the color intensity of the lipstick and luster of a gloss. This non-sticky lip crème comes with a doe-foot sponge applicator.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Margarita Punch Lip Creme:

I picked up almost the entire set of soft shades from the palette ranging from corals, pinks and browns. From the time I eyed these lip crèmes, it was not just me who loved this color. It was also my mom. She was the one who insisted that I pick at least this shade. From her end, she likes the pearly finish offered by these lip crèmes along with the color payoff. She is someone who appreciates more of a matte finish lipstick. I am glad that she likes these as I can trust her with blunt criticism or her beautiful compliments.

Packaging:
These tubes come in a transparent, plastic, sturdy tube with even shelf life mentioned on it, which I think is great. The box has a horse-shoe magnet type provision that makes it easy to spot the colors instantly. It has a regular doe-foot applicator that picks up the right amount of product. It is designed in an articulate manner – one side of the applicator enables to do justice to the upper lip and the other to the lower lip. You then go around filling the gaps and the job is done. I just have to dip it once. That is quite impressive, right?

Color and Texture:
Margarita Punch is a neutral brown shade that has mild coral undertones to it that you might notice eventually when the crème settles and upon fading as well. I could not love this particular reddish sandstone color more! It fetches me many compliments. A rustic brown color which would work in favor of faces with moderately pigmented lips is sure to sweep you off your feet. It is not alone a warm beautiful summer color; the non sticky lip formula also adds to the experience. It does not exactly hydrate the lips, but it does not dry them out either.

Finish and Fragrance:
You can expect a normal pearly shine that is not over the top. Under light, this shade of the crème with shine reflects well, at its best. If coated generously, you can expect more shine, also meaning that it would last longer. But do watch out, if too much of the product is applied it is likely to bleed. I must say that that the color payoff and the result can be shade dependent. In case of these lip crèmes, one solid dip can do a neat job. These creams also carry a mild, vanilla fragrance. I feel they are scented just because they have to be. You know what I mean? Nothing about the fragrance is obvious.

Pigmentation and Staying Power:
They last for about easily four to six hours even if you were to rub your lips. They last a snack and a drink easily although the product does transfer a bit. Easily lasting a meal, it leaves an even stain or softer shades. With shades like ‘Nude Mojito’ or ‘Margarita Punch’, you cannot expect pink stained lips. If you look at my swatches, it would look like I have applied a generous amount of the product, but that is not the case.

To sum it up, I would worship this beautiful shade of interesting brown at least after my encounter with a shade like ‘Grape Martini’. If you love pearl like shine and if you are into browns, this is an interesting mature color to sport that is definitely worth the money you spend. You can add a lip liner to add an edge to this color. Overall I am impressed with this warm brown that keeps me in my comfort zone as an everyday wear or serves to be a shade that gives a buzz.

• Does not moisturize your lips, but does not exactly dry your lips out
• Upon fading, you cannot expect pink stained lips; be prepared to reapply, although the staying power is long
• ‘Margarita Punch’ would not suit dusky skin tones or medium complexioned beauties

Yes, I would definitely repurchase this bright, warm, neutral shade as I see myself using this shade often. If you would be happy to have a red sand shade of brown lip crème in your vanity, this should be your one.
