Faces recently launched a few shades in its ‘Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon’ range, and I picked up three of these. Here is one super bright shade from the stash called Pop Out. While I mostly do not use coral or orange lipsticks, I was lured to try this one since it looked so pretty. So scroll down to read more details.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Pop Out Matte Lip Crayon:
The range of Faces ultime pro lip crayons has matte and some little shimmery shades too, but this one belongs to the matte category. Yes, Faces might seem a little expensive than usual, but if you try this out, you wouldn’t mind paying 800 bucks!
Packaging:
The crayon comes in the same bright orange color with a black base and a transparent cap. It has the shade name written right over the packaging, which makes it super convenient. Also, the packaging’s colour resembles the shade, so it becomes hassle-free to find one crayon if you own a few. It looks like the lip crayons from the other brands but just a little less fat than those. These are extremely handy and the cap at any point doesn’t get separated from the crayon. Now the difference in the packaging is that these have to be sharpened and they don’t have a twisty base. The sharpener came free with these for which I wholeheartedly thank Faces. Yes, there is product wastage, but I am always cautious.
Shade:
The shade “Pop Out” is a super bright milky orange shade with a few neon hints. It is a refreshing blend of orange and coral shades that will surely make your lips “pop out”. It is one orange that is perfect for summers but I did not like this shade a lot because it has those milky hints which wash out the complexion. It will only suit beauties with fair complexion. It will make a really good and bright shade for daily wear; however, I am not a fan of it. This bold and the bright shade is a bit different from the other shades in the range as far as the formula and colour payoff is concerned.
Finish and texture:
The finish is super matte and I am sure matte lovers are going to fall in love with the finish. The pigmentation is intense and the application is super smooth and creamy. It glides like a dream. The formula is a bit stark and patchy as compared to the other shades. It gets applied unevenly and clings badly to dry patches if you can see in the swatches. Due to the bold pigmentation, it transfers to tissues and glasses, but not a lot. The colour transfers but it looks like nothing has been transferred from the lips, so hats off to the pigmentation.
Staying power:
The staying power is really good, like the other mattes from this range, as it stays for more than 6-7 hours and the pigmentation stays as it is. The pigmentation might mildly decrease after 4-5 hours, but the colour stays as it is. It stays no matter how much I eat, sip water or do whatever. The removal part is a little tedious as it needs a powerful makeup remover to come off.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Faces Ultime Pro Pop Out Matte Lip Crayon?
I wouldn’t really get such shades again and I think there are better oranges out there. In fact, Smoking Hot from the same range is one gorgeous orange to own.

This range is the best range for matte lovers. It has a variety of shades to suit everyone’s liking, so run and pick the one you like!
