Skin type: oily eye lids, minor dryness around eye area, mild signs of ageing, puffy eyes
How have you been? I am here to talk about an eye cream from Farmacy brand which seems promising for my skin type. Farmacy seems to be a newly emerging skincare brand which is giving me some serious skin care shopping goals to be honest; the farm grown Echinacea Green Envy defines their brand. They claim to combine cutting age technologies with age old wisdom to create solutions for our skin concerns supporting natural skin renewal and defense cycle; intriguing, isn’t it? Considering its effectiveness on my skin and the way it simply maintained the goodness of my skin (if not diminishing certain issues) I am thinking of exploring more products from this brand now. Let’s read more about Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream.

What it is: A powerfully moisturizing eye cream to treat the total eye zone and help minimize signs of aging, stress, and fatigue.
What it is formulated to do: Eye Dew aids in reducing the appearance of dark circles and brightens the under-eye area. It also moisturizes and helps firm to restore the appearance of elasticity to the skin around the eyes. The formula contains Echinacea GreenEnvy™, a unique, patent-protected variant of echinacea purpurea that contains the highest known concentration of cichoric acid, which helps protect the skin by supporting natural collagen. Naturally high in vitamins A, D, E and F, baobab fruit oil supports cell membranes and provides antioxidant properties to help fight signs of aging. Ribose supports natural cellular respiration, increasing the appearance of skin elasticity, smoothed wrinkles, and enhanced complexion. Strelitzia nicolai seed aril extract helps illuminate the complexion while also minimizing dark circles and puffiness under the eyes. Rose hip extract combats signs of aging with antioxidants and vitamins, and chamomile and calendula extracts reduce redness and soothe the skin. The result is soothed, smoother-looking skin and more even pigmentation around the eye area for a more rested and youthful appearance.
My Experience with Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream:
The eye cream comes in sturdy and opaque heavy glass jar packaging with a wooden cap. It does have a mild fragrance but is barely noticeable. For some reasons I prefer tube packaging over jar ones, though I am happy with this travel friendly packaging.
The eye cram appears light pastel green in color which soothes my eyes just by opening and looking at it. It has rich texture, almost like a thick cream and hence a little goes long way for this product. Thankfully it absorbs completely on my skin without leaving any greasy or flaky residue; just oil-free clean skin though it needs some serious dabbing motion. I don’t know if its friction of dabbing strokes or this cream which generates mild warmth while working on eye area; it helps in better assimilation imparting well rested hydrated look to my skin.
Initially I was skeptical about its effectiveness for my weird concern like I have oily eye lids yet my eye area is always bit dry and demands extra hydration to combat fine lines. In fact my puffy brow bone tells what I ate in my last dinner precisely salt and rice or if I had been a night owl! However, I never had any serious concerns for eye area other than fine lines, newly emerging crow’s feet and puffiness; still it is concerning considering my work demands younger me all the time. This eye cream helped me lock away a few of my issues gracefully (if not diminishing them), even plumping up my skin temporarily to make fine lines almost disappear. No matter I wake up at 10 or 5 am my eyes look well rested and hydrated; it also helps in de-puffing eye area.
I just need a small drop of cream to gently dab on eye area thereby it absorbs onto the skin slowly diminishing signs of fatigue, lack of sleep and minor fine lines as well. But like any genuine eye cream it takes its own time for treating major concerns like dark circles or wrinkles; it didn’t faded my ageing signs completely they simply emerge once I stop using this cream. It seems working like a temporary treatment for plumping up my dehydrated skin thus filling in fine lines for a while. But it is commendable how it simply improves skin texture from good to better. I am impressed to see that it never causes discomfort to my skin as it is neither drying nor overtly hydrating for my eyes.
Considering I have oily eye lids I don’t think it aggravated my concerns; it comes up nicely under eye makeup; in fact it works as nice base for concealer and eye makeup. I use it twice a day without any issues. I find it perfect for every skin type including beauties with dry as well as oily skin considering its rich hydrating texture and formula which helps combat dehydrated skin, signs of fatigue, signs of ageing very well. I am not sure how well it works for deep seated wrinkles or dark circles though but it is definitely promising for 30-40s age group beauties. Not to forget the goodness of ingredients which work bit slowly but certainly. I just feel bit awkward about its jar packaging which makes me believe that after a while it might stop working the way it works on my skin. Never mind, I have been using it since 4+ weeks and in these weeks I have least cared about my skin honestly. I had irregular sleep schedules, I used to be night owl, I had to get up and groom up for shows and this eye cream simply stood by me like a true well wisher. Let’s sum up pros and cons,
Pros of Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream:

• Enriched with goodness of several vitamins and naturally derived ingredients.

• Regular usage helps waking up with well rested, brighter and youthful skin.

Cons of Farmacy Eye Dew Total Eye Cream:
• Open jar packaging is not hygienic.
• It feels richer compared to other eye creams.
• Might be too slow or tricky for dark circles.

• Might be tricky for sagging, loose skin around eyes.
IMBB Rating – 4.6/5
Honestly I feel price is still justified but the jar packing makes it bit tricky for me.
