I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent the weekend cooking and writing! Last weekend, I was in a writing mode and wanted to review as many products as I have, since I would be going on a break for some time real soon.
I am on the look out for good skin care and hair care products. You can say, I am on a shopping spree for these products nowadays! I some times get overly obsessed with few things and I guess this is that phase!
I am going to review a shampoo from Farma Vita called the Back Bar Pearl. This is a product I bought last month but didn’t get the time to review. Farma Vita manufactures professional hair care product and this is an Italian brand originally.
Product Description: Daily use shampoo, PH 5.5. Back Bar is a complete hair care system for in salon treatments. Each product is enriched with natural and active extracts to offer target effects for specific hair needs.
Price: INR 299 for 250 ml
My Take on FarmaVita Back Bar Pearl Shampoo:
Packaging: This shampoo comes in a sleek sturdy bottle packaging white and pink in color. The brand name and variant printed in black on the front with a beautiful pink flower on it. A lot of other information along with the ingredient list is mentioned at the back panel of the bottle. The cap has a small flip-top opening for taking out the product. I am a little afraid to carry it as the flip-top might open accidentally, leading to spillage.
The shampoo has an amazing fragrance; it is a floral scent with a lot of rose extract to it. When I used it for the first time, it felt as if I am using freshly crushed pink rose petals! The fragrance does not last long and vanishes within an hour of washing the hair. I would have loved it if it stayed longer.
The shampoo has a slightly thin consistency and is pearly white in color. A little amount is required to cover my shoulder length hair. Since it is a daily use shampoo, I use it twice in a week and it requires only one wash to clean my hair. It spreads easily on damp hair, lathers well and easy to wash.
It requires the use of conditioner or serum after wash; otherwise it makes my hair a little dry. However, it doesn’t make them frizzy!

• Does not lead to hair breakage
• Cleans hair well

Cons of FarmaVita Back Bar Pearl Shampoo:
• Not a travel-friendly packaging
• Fragrance does not last long
• Makes my hair a little dry without the use of a hair serum

Final Verdict: I would probably not buy it again at the moment as I have one more variant from the range, which I will finish first. You can give this shampoo a try if you a looking for mild everyday shampoo for basic cleaning of hair. It can be missed if you are expecting wonders from this shampoo!
