My Experience with Flower That’s So Kohl! Eyeliner – Tell Me No Lilacs:

Packaging:  The kohl comes in a chubby crayon format and the color of the packaging matches the color of the kohl itself which in this case is a lovely purple color. The packaging is attractive and effective.  It has a sponge smudger on one end which can be used to create smudged and blended looks. Both sides have a transparent cap.

The kohl comes in a twist-up format. It doesn’t come with its own sharpener. So, once the tip becomes too blunt, you would need to find a sharpener to do the job.

Since, the tip of the eyeliner remains exposed, there is a danger of nicking it while putting the cap on. I am already guilty of that.

Shade/Pigmentation:  “Tell Me No Lilacs” is true to its name and is a lovely lilac shade. It is a bright shade and sure to pop. So, not all of you might like wearing it. But, those who like purple shades should surely try it out. The kohl is strongly pigmented and one swipe is enough to deposit color on your eyes.

Texture/Finish/Staying Power:  The texture of the eyeliner is very creamy. It glides smoothly on the lash line and is very easy to use.  This eyeliner does not have any shimmer and the finish is matte. It can be safely used on the waterline and does not irritate the eyes.

The staying power is decent; it lasts for around 4 hours on my water line. On my upper lash line, it stays for around 5+ hours. But it lasts nowhere close to the advertised 12 hours. It also smudges quite easily which is fine if you are creating a soft smudged look but not if you want a sharp line.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Flower That’s So Kohl! Eyeliner – Tell Me No Lilacs?
I would recommend you to go for it only if you absolutely love the shade. It is a decent eyeliner but nothing extraordinary.  I already have other shades in this range and will not repurchase the same shade.
