Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil Review

Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil Review

Hi Everyone,

Today, I am going to review a product, about which I came to know just a little while ago. I am talking about a bath and shower oil. I actually didn’t know that there were specific bath and shower oils until I saw this cute little bottle in my first Blisscovered Box. There was some fiasco and I got two bottles.  I had been delaying its use owing to the scorching summers, but off late, with the onset of the monsoons, I gave it a try. Let’s take a detalied review:

Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil Review

Product Being Reviewed:

Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil (Honey and Vanilla).

Directions and Ingredients:

Shower Oil

Price/Packaging/Quantity:

Rs. 925 for 200 ml. I received a cute, travel-sized sturdy plastic bottle with a screw cap.  I guess the bigger bottle would also be like this.  I have no complaints with the packaging, nevertheless, a stopper would have added to its utility considering its an oil and sometimes we need not pour it and just take a few drops which becomes difficult with the wide open mouth of the bottle.

My Take on Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil:

It is a pale yellow liquid which has a runny consistency. The first thing which you will notice after opening the cap is the fragrance, yes it smells deliciously of vanilla. I was sold by merely the fragrance, its efficacy came much later. I added two caps to a bucket full of water and believe me it gave me a very relaxing shower.  The fragrance played its tune here as well.  Since I was loving the yumilicious vanilla fragrance, it made my bathing a relaxing and an enjoyable experience. Also, since it is an oil, it won’t  et dissolved completely into the water, but that doesn’t really make much of a differece, the entire bucket of water felt and smelled the same.

Shower Oil

Coming to its skin smoothing properties, it fared really well.  My skin didn’t feel too heavy, but it felt smooth and soft and post bath, I skipped moisturiser and my skin remained hydrated for 3-4 hours. I could also smell faint scents of vanilla from my body.

All in all, it is a good buy, let me sum up the pros and cons:

Pros of Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil:

  • Smells amazingly nice of vanilla.
  • Makes shower a very relaxing experience, soothes the senses.
  • Fragrance lingers on the body for 3-4 hours.
  • Makes skin soft and supple.

Cons of Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil:

  • A little pricey for some, may be not a con as such for the product, but price does remain a deciding factor for some, that’s why I am listing it as a con.
  • They could have provided a stopper beneath the cap to control the flow of the fluid.

Will I Repurchase Forest Essentials Bath and Shower Oil?

Yes, I will.
