My Experience with Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Thickening Spray:

Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Thickening Spray Review5

It is a colourless hair spray which comes packaged in a 100ml, rectangular shaped, good quality, sturdy plastic bottle. It has a black and golden coloured screw on nozzle spray cap. With this, an additional plastic cap is provided. This bottle has a pink coloured label which bears the brand and product name on it. All other details are mentioned on the reverse label. It comes packed in a cardboard box which has a pink coloured label on the front. In my opinion, it can be labelled as a travel-friendly packaging.

Nowadays, whenever I am looking for herbal and naturally processed hair and body care products, I always tend to reach out for Forest Essentials products. Being a luxurious brand, all their products are highly priced, however, the fact that the company uses organic ingredients and natural processes always convince me to buy their products.

Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Thickening Spray Review3

The bhringraj and shikakai hair thickening spray is a recent addition to their hair care products. It’s a colourless water based spray. I spray it on my hair after washing and towel drying my hair. It can be used on a daily basis also. This spray is blended with ingredients that are good for your hair and scalp. As truly said, all natural products do not suit everyone and this one has something that does not suit my normal to dry and sensitive scalp, which tends to become drier in winters.

It adds volume, provides a thickening effect, strengthens and adds a mild shine to my hair. However, I have noticed that after using this hair spray, my scalp tends to feel itchy. I do not use this spray on my scalp, I spray it only on my hair strands, but still it tends to make my scalp itchy and dry at times. This could be due to the extreme cold and dry weather here. So, I have stopped using this hair spray for the time being and will start using it again after the weather changes for better.

Secondly, it does nothing to soften or make my hair silky. This hair spray is water based and extremely diluted and I can hardly sense any oil or gel based serum in it. This also could be the reason for making my scalp dry and itchy. Till date, all serums which I have used have an oily or gel based texture, but this one feels like a spritz. It has a pleasant aromatic fragrance, which lingers on for quite some time. In my opinion, this product may suit women who have normal and healthy hair, not dry and damaged like mine. Last but not the least, it is highly priced for the quantity provided and the results are not so great, at least in my case!! Again, this is my personal view and this product could suit anybody out there. So, if you are interested, do not hesitate to give it a try.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Thickening Spray?
Here, I can only state that currently, it is not suiting my dry and sensitive scalp. Since it tends to make my scalp dry and itchy, I have stopped using it. In my opinion, people with extremely dry scalp and hair may refrain from trying this product. Those with normal and healthy hair, who are looking for a water-based hair spray, can give this one a shot. I am definitely not repurchasing it.
