I recently did a huge Forest Essentials Haul and grabbed many skin care products from this brand. Today, I am going to review the Forest Essentials Eladi Teenage Day Cream, which is a part of my haul. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Forest Essentials Eladi Teenage Day Cream:

Forest Essentials has recently added some new products to their skin care range. This day cream is part of their new collection. This day cream is meant exclusively for the teens. Though, I am not in my teens anymore, but I have super sensitive and acne prone skin, which reacts to products very easily. Hence, the SA had suggested to use the day cream and night cream from the “Teenage” range since they claim to help regulate sebum production and are meant for sensitive skin types.

The day cream comes in a beautiful glass jar with a golden lid. The lid has the brand’s tagline embossed on it. The tub bears a label printed with multi-colored flowers, which makes it look even more beautiful. There is a clear safety cover to prevent the cream from leakage. The normal screw on type cap fits securely and makes the packaging leak-proof. The packaging of the product is truly luxurious, like all other Forest Essentials products, but what makes a difference in the packaging of this cream is the outer cardboard box which is not too strong, but this product comes in a very beautiful, strong cardboard packaging. The base of the box bears the product description, ingredients list and usage instruction at the base. Overall, the packaging is lovely but the glass jar is kind of delicate and fragile, so it is not really travel friendly.

The day cream is light green in color and looks like pistachio paste. The cream is richly fragrant and smells heavenly though I cannot find pistachio in their ingredients list. It smells like fresh pista ice cream. It smells rich and pleasing. The smell is not bothersome and lingers for a few hours after application. The cream is enriched with so many natural ingredients, and eladi thailam is one of them. Eladi thailam is known for its skin nourishing properties. It adds glow to the skin and makes skin healthy. This cream is also enriched with sweet almond oil, aloe vera juice, lemon extract, clove extract, coriander extract, ficus extract, turmeric extract, neem extract, grapefruit oil, vitamin E, khus oil along with pearl extracts and silver extracts. The ingredients list is quite impressive.

The texture of the cream is thick, but still it spreads on the skin effortlessly. It sinks into the skin easily with a little massage. It does not leave any oily residue behind and my skin does not look greasy at all. This cream immediately takes away all the dryness of my skin and clears away all the dry patches moisturizing my skin deeply. It keeps my skin hydrated for hours.

The formula is rich and nourishing. As I have already mentioned, I have sensitive and acne-prone skin. Thankfully, this cream did not cause breakouts on my skin. I have combination skin and a few areas of my face are extremely dry. This cream resolves that issue for me perfectly, making my skin deeply moisturized.

My skin has got this glow and looks bright with just a few uses. It has made my skin clear and fair, also soft and supple. This cream has SPF 30. I do not really prefer using a sunscreen because I do not like the thick formula that most of the sunscreens have; I was using the sunscreen from Amway, which has a lighter formula, but now, I have ditched sunscreen and I am using just this day cream and apply my makeup over it. The product claims to regulate sebum production and keeps my skin oil-free and matte. My skin looks fresh. I have also observed that it helps to lighten acne scars and clear up the complexion. Overall, it is quite a good product for combination to oily skin.
