Forest Essentials Hair Cleanser Mysore Sandalwood & Vetiver Review
I always keep 3-5 shampoos in my bathroom. Dove was in my HG shampoo list before some days and I think you why it is not so now. Forest Essentials, as a luxury Ayurvedic brand, I believe is free from most of harmful chemicals like sulfates and silicones. I bought this one some months back and it’s finished now. Let’s take a look how it fared for me.

My experience with FE Sandalwood and Vetiver Shampoo
I got myself this shampoo only because I saw sandalwood in it. I am a very big fan of sandalwood products. I adore the smell of sandalwood products too. So a product from Forest Essentials with sandalwood is always in for me.
Let me start with the scent of this shampoo, it is so divine. If you like sandalwood you are surely going to love the smell of this one. Compared to my usual shampoos, this one required a bit more quantity for proper lathering. It doesn’t lather easily. I like to use this one on weekdays when I don’t use oil on my hair. It never made my hair dry even without a conditioner. If I am having a tiresome day, a bath with this gives me a relaxed feel with its smell.
Summing Up
What I loved about FE Sandalwood & Vetiver Shampoo
• Smell. I would re purchase it any day for its smell
• Very gentle shampoo. Won’t make the hair dry.
• Sandalwood is good for skin and hair. This shampoo has sandalwood as a key ingredient
• I believe it’s free from harmful chemicals (like sulphates and silicones)
• Calms me down on a stressful day
• Gives shine to my hair
• Have a subtle cooling effect
What I didn’t like about this shampoo
• Available only in exclusive FE stores
• If I have oiled my hair, or want to get rid of dirt and sweat, this one won’t be my choice.
• Needs more quantity to lather, more than most other shampoos
• Shine and the smell on my hair stay just for a day.

Moderation 🙁
thats pricey for a shampoo but if it is going to last a while you might not feel the pinch afer all 🙂 :). I am less likely to try something just for the nice smell if it is expensive.
btw I just purchased the sunsilk keratinology shampoo + conditioner for 170 bucks each 🙂 i am really hoping i have the same success that Parita had with hers
yea, a bit pricey….
I hope sunsilk keratin one works for u too … 😉
I totally like the FE shampoo that I am using. This sounds nice but I think I’d stick to the rose one that I am using. Works great for my hair. :))
i want to buy that next.. I thnk FE shampoos woks best with their conditioners, next time i will get both 🙂
nice review… but too much of quantity will be required for oily hair. :-/ still i wanna buy atleast one FE shampoo..
I knw , they have some kind of attraction 🙂
