My Experience with Forest Essentials Madurai Jasmine and Mogra Velvet Silk Body Cream:

As we all know, Forest Essential products come in sturdy and luxurious-looking packaging. This body cream comes in a big plastic tub with a beautiful metallic gold screw on cap that fits very securely and makes it for travel purposes. The tub has two labels on it, one indicating the brand’s tagline and range details, while the other one bears other product related information. This large tub comes housed in a leak proof packaging, which makes it travel friendly but I find this big 200 mg jar a little bulky for travelling.

This body cream has a strong jasmine fragrance which is so refreshing. I really enjoy its fresh floral fragrance though I always prefer fruity fragrances over floral ones, but this fragrance has blown me away with its scent. I don’t think any one can dislike this fragrance because the scent is so soothing. This fragrance lasts for some good 6 hours on my body, which is impressive for a body cream.

The body cream is white in color. The texture of the cream is thick. The formula is so lightweight and feels comfortable on the skin. The body cream spreads very easily all over the skin and gets absorbed within seconds. So, I don’t have to indulge in heavy massaging to make the cream sink into the skin. Just a little product goes a long way, so I do not need too much product. The cream is absolutely non sticky. It does not feel any heavy on the skin. Neither doe it feels any greasy, does not leave any oily sheen behind. Its non-sticky formula makes it fit for summers and fit for humid climate.

The cream is very moisturizing. It deeply nourishes and moisturizes skin for long hours, but I am not sure whether it will provide adequate moisturization in winters too. It may require reapplication in cold weather conditions. This body cream is enriched with so many natural ingredients that deeply nourish the skin. I have noticed a significant difference in my skin texture after using it over a period of time. My skin feels so soft and smooth now. This range claims to provide toning and I am glad that it really works. Overall, I think it’s definitely a lovely body cream from the house of Forest Essentials.
