Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Review

Everyone knows the importance of keeping the skin moisturized both during day and night. Well, though we can use the same moisturizer for both day and night, why go for an exclusive night cream. There are reasons for it. The day moisturizer has to be light and non sticky. While, the night cream could be a little heavier, as it could work to replenish the skin while we sleep off.
I always try to use as much as natural product as possible in my skin care. When I learnt about Forest Essentials brand I was very much impressed. I picked a hand full of stuff during my visit to their store. One among them is the Night Treatment Cream Sandalwood & Saffron. This one is for Normal to Dry skin. Also, this cream has got the Vogue 2011 Best night cream award. I didn’t need any more reason to pick it up . 🙂

My Experience with Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Sandalwood & Saffron:

I have a dry combinational skin and I got this cream during last September, when winter was about to start. Being in Bangalore, my skin needed extra hydration during night to overcome the dry weather. This perfectly suited the bill. The consistency is of a thick cream. But to my surprise, it got absorbed in to the skin in no time. In the morning my skin was well hydrated and ready to face yet another harsh dry and cold day.

I had almost hit the bottom of the tub. It didn’t happen quickly. I had been using this for more than 4 months religiously. So it’s worth every penny I paid.

It had never made my skin break out. I have to talk about the way it smells. It has a buttery smell with a faint saffron fragrance in it. I couldn’t detect Sandalwood smell though. When I smelled it in the store, I didn’t like it much. But later I started liking it.

About their skin firming claim, I don’t have problem with firmness of my skin. So couldn’t comment much about that.
It has many oils blended in. Thus, I enjoyed using it throughout the winter. But, as the summer is approaching now, I feel it’s a little heavy for my dry combinational skin. Anyways, It’s going to be over in few days. So, no worries . 🙂

1. All natural ingredients.
2. Provides very good hydration during winter.
3. Gets absorbed very easily
4. Lasted for more than 4 months.

1. May not be suitable for summer. Still very dry skin beauties can continue to use this in summer.

Recommendation : I would definitely recommend this to normal to dry skin beauties. Just that normal skinned people can skip this during summer. I will definitely buy it again once summer is gone.

Rating : 4.25/5

I am very much impressed with this night cream which makes my extremely dry skin turn into a supple amd soft one. A small amount of cream easily spreads and keeps the facial skin moisturized and you will wake up with a soft skin in this dry winter. I strongly recommend this cream to dry skin sufferers like me.
