Forest Essentials brand makes amazing natural products with ingredients that are beneficial to the skin. In this post, I will be reviewing Forest Essentials’ recently launched “Rasa Activating Serum”. It is the first beauty ritual range by Forest Essentials. The first beauty ritual encompasses two products: Rasa Activating Serum and Tejal Balancing Water. The serum needs to be applied before the water. Let’s get into the review to know more about this serum.

Ingredients:

Packaging: The serum comes in a glass bottle with the lid being a built-in dropper, making it easy to use the product. All the details are mentioned on the outer box. The packaging is luxurious and travel-friendly.

Texture: The serum is light gold in color and quite thin as compared to regular facial serums. One has to be very quick in application as the serum is runny like water. Place a few droplets into hand and gently smooth mainly over the entire face until thoroughly absorbed.

My Experience with Forest Essentials Rasa Activating Serum:

Add 4-5 drops of the Rasa serum to your palms and begin rubbing them together to generate warmth for an ideal medium. The serum is extremely lightweight and runny. It has watery consistency and gets absorbed within a few seconds of application. It has mild fragrance with a touch of alcohol scent. It has an ayurvedic scent that comes with no doubt from the included natural ingredients, although it doesn’t bother my nose.

The texture is light and doesn’t make my skin greasy at all, but leaves it hydrated throughout the day. I have combination skin, so the area around the nose tends to get oily. I was expecting this serum to have oily texture, however, unlike other serums, the texture of this is watery and runny. This serum rejuvenates the skin and makes it new and fresh as ever, if used on everyday basis. I use this serum every morning under my sunscreen or moisturiser.

I tried using this under my foundation too and it keeps my skin plump and moisturized without making it oily. I won’t say this product did anything miraculous to my skin texture or improved to a large extent, but it definitely made my skin feel and look a bit better. This product prevents cystic acne and overall improves skin texture to some extent.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Forest Essentials Rasa Activating Serum?
No to both. The quantity of this one will last for long, so I don’t think I would like to repurchase. This serum has nothing extraordinary to offer, so you can skip this one.
