My Experience with Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep

I mostly never buy these products that claim ‘better sleep’ stuff. I feel they never work and thankfully I don’t need these things on most days. You could also use lavender oil if you have sleeping trouble.

Anyway, I picked it up for fun. I used it a few nights before and I knew this was working. Just to be sure I used it a few more nights before I could review it.

Forest Essentials Tranquil Sleep comes in this little glass spray bottle. It is easier to carry around and takes no storage space. You have to spray it on your pillow and on your neck before going to sleep. The first night I used it and I feel asleep within seconds. Somewhere midnight my sleep was disturbed and suddenly I sniffed something and I feel asleep within seconds again. This was this spray that worked as a tranquilliser to put me back to sleep. I am a light sleeper and if my sleep gets disturbed at midnight I take a while a fall back asleep again. I am addicted to this and  am not sure if this is a good thing. I ideally you should be falling sleep on your own without any external help but I can’t help spraying this on my pillow atleast every night before going off to sleep. It smells sooo good and calming. The whole blend of fragrances of essential oils calms down your senses. You can smell a bit of lavender and sandalwood when you spray it.

The only cons would be that this is expensive. It is a tiny 10 ml bottle. Although you don’t need a whole lot of it in one go still for the price I feel it is expensive.

And second, this could be addictive. You could really become dependant on it for your sleep. Try not using it daily and may be reserve it for days when you really need it. It is all natural product so I don’t think it would have side effects. Still your sleep should be independent of every external factor.

I personally LOVE it. I have never tried anything related to sleep before and now that I have tried this, I know this works. Highly recommended.

  1. Ive had this for close to a year but rarely ever use it. My sis gifted this to me -probably not realising that when you are a mother of 2, you pretty much fall into a dead slumber the moment your head hits the bed! 😉

      1. Absolutely! N you are right, with something like this, you keep wondering if it could get addictive n would you develop a dependency on it. I’m sure using once in a while to pamper yourself is ok.

  2. I am thinking of gifting it to my niece. She is autistic and she needs to take some calming pills to get a relaxed sleep. This might be of help to her. Thanks for the review Rati. 🙂

For myself, I would love to use it on days when hubby is tired like anything and then he snores like anything. I did actually push him down the bed once for it. Good times. Ha ha ha. 😉
