Come winters and the softest of skins crave moisture. Our only saving grace are moisturizers that keep the skin soft, hydrated and smelling nice.Today, I will review a body cream that I love! It is the Forest Essentials Velvet Silk Body Cream in Cocoa Butter fragrance.

Product Description:

Rich silkening body creams to smooth onto the body while paying attention to the heels, elbows and knees. Use after a bath, steam or spa treatment to soften, nourish and leave the skin with a satin sheen. These creams contain Almond Oil from sweet almonds, which are most nutritious, adds glow and deeply moisturizes. Olive Oil is a source of anti-oxidants and neutralizes free radicals that damage the skin and accelerate the aging process. Aloe Vera has strong soothing and moisture retaining properties. Wheat Germ improves blood circulation, repairs damaged skin cells and soothes and softens the skin. Jojoba oil makes the skin softer and smoother while Bala smoothes rough skin texture. Vitamin E protects skin from UV rays and pollution, anti-oxidant and is a natural preservative. Cocoa Butter nourishes and makes skin supple, restores elasticity to the skin.

My Experience with Forest Essentials Velvet Silk Cocoa Butter Body Cream:

The Forest Essentials brand needs no introduction. It’s famous for its Luxurious Ayurvedic formulations .On my last visit to the FE stores, me swatched this body cream and went out to other stores in the mall. But I just loved the way my hands felt soo soft and the soft fragrance of cocoa butter was so comforting!! I promptly bought it and am so glad I did!!

This body cream comes in the signature FE luxurious tub. The jar is quite sturdy and travel-friendly.The cream itself has a soft buttery feel to it. It’s like whipped butter at room temperature. It is really easy to apply and spreads easily. The cream sinks in quickly and is really handy if you have to get ready quickly as it does not leave behind any greasy film.

It has a soft warm cocoa butter fragrance, which I love. I am sure even the most sensitive of the noses wouldn’t mind it! It’s a must buy for those who like soft comforting fragrances.Infact it as almost a unisex fragrance, so the entire family and even kids can use this. Unfortunately the fragrance does not stay long 2 hours tops. I really do wish the fragrance lasted longer, and then nothing would beat this body cream.I love how it leaves my skin satiny smooth!
