I am absolutely loving the lip glosses from Forever 21. I have already reviewed the shade Burgundy and here I am with a bright pink from my stash. Let’s jump to the review of Forever 21 High Shine Lip Gloss in Flamingo Pink.

My Experience with Forever 21 High Shine Lip Gloss Flamingo Pink:
This lip gloss comes in a tube with an applicator. The tube is transparent with all the details printed on it. The nozzle type applicator, however, isn’t the perfect type. You can’t really control the amount of gloss you need as you squeeze the tube. Plus, it’s difficult to keep the liquid confined to the edges of your lips. Probably it would be better to have a tube with a doe foot applicator for precise application. It has a screw on cap, and the gloss is handy to even fit your pockets. Completely travel safely.
The color Flamingo Pink is a bold pink shade, with a neon touch. It is a loud color which would probably suit fair-medium skin tones. For a lip gloss, its pigmentation is incredible. It can be completely opaque if you apply it right. I take out a bit of gloss on the centre of my lips and spread it with my index finger. That works for me as it gives a beautiful shiny color which can be easily worn during the daytime. I am not really fond of pink lip colors especially those with neon tinge as they don’t look great on my tanned complexion. But, if you like bold, attention-seeking pinks, totally go for it.
The gloss doesn’t have shimmers, which makes it easier to wear. You can get luscious just-kissed lips by applying a thin even layer. The texture is thick yet runny. It’s a slightly heavy liquid which can seep through the corners of your lips, so be careful while applying. That’s why applying it with fingers works best. Plus, when you apply it with fingers, you can sheer out the color and it looks a very wearable pink.
I won’t say it’s completely transfer-proof or smudge-proof, but for a lip-gloss so affordable it has damn good performance. It can survive meals without getting wiped off completely and has a pretty tint even after you stuff a lot of food during lunch. It is slightly sticky but doesn’t stick your lips if you press them. Also, if you apply by spreading it out with your fingers, it feels so comfortable and lightweight on lips. The gloss is hydrating and doesn’t require prepping up of the lips. It’s easy to remove it completely with a makeup remover.
Also, I found that it works great as a cheek tint too. This color would look so gorgeous on the fair-medium skin. I rub my index finger on the apple of my cheeks and it gives such a rosy flush with a subtle glow. Absolutely love it.
