My Experience with Formula So Totally Clean Anti Blemish Pads:
This is my first time using a product from the brand Formula 10.0.6. This skin care brand was established by a chemist in 1933 and since then this brand has offered affordable skincare products to treat several skin ailments. These cotton pads come in a plastic, round box with a screw on lid. The packing is in white color with orange color lid and has a detailed description on the packaging. The cotton pads are made of recycled cotton and are soaked in the peeling solution. These wipes have mildly abrasive texture which, I guess, increase the surface area.
These pads are infused with the peeling solution which gently retexturize skin by removing dead skin cells without leaving skin dry. It contains salicylic acid which is a keratolytic (peeling agent). It causes shedding of the outer layer of skin when applied topically. This is the only active ingredient in the short ingredient list of this product. As inactive ingredients, it contains allantoin which is a skin conditioning agent, lactic acid which is a humectant and prevents skin drying, and it contains sodium bicarbonate as a bulking agent and as a pH adjuster. It has mild fragrance to mask the acid smell.
These wipes are gentle enough for daily use. The best way to use them is to gently them across face, neck, and décolleté once or twice daily after cleansing. These pads come in a sanitary packaging and are perfect for travel purposes as well. It does not sting or hurt live acne and it helps in drying out active pimples. Overall, I love these pads, they perform well and I recommend it to those who suffer from acne.
