  1. Revlon colorstay ( full coverage and peoeel swear by it bt may not be under rs 500) , lakme invisible foundation ( very light almost like a tinted moisturiser), maybelline dream matte mousse if you have oily skin ( it works for some , does not work for others) . you should be able to find shades in these brands.

May be chambor bt no idea abt their foundations.

        1. haayiiiiiiiiiiiiii me also checked at new U but they told me its not available now…..then i checked it shopper stop and life style……….but they only have 3 shade who bhi old stock……….so i picked that max factor………. :haanji:

                  1. free Gifts………….mujhe tho nahi diya :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: but lifesyle is giving 1 lakme enrich free with two……… :haanji:

              1. I use Max factor second skin foundation and feel it to be good. But the price is around 700-750 bucks. Worth a try!

                  1. i got max factor secnd skin foundation free wid dere concealer..bt i feel its more lyk a tm..dats y i luv it bt ma sis loathe it..she likes full coverage..

  2. Under 500 bucks-one may try Revlon New Complexion makeup (Price Rs 495 approx) its got great shades for Indian tones-doesnt break out-and full coverage all day long-my favvvv everyday foundation it is :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

  3. mine is extremely oily skin. There is no good foundation below 500 for my skin type. I had used one foundation from Diana of london costing around 500 & it was awsome. But I couldn’t find it anywhere now. recently I’m using mac studio fix, loving it.

  4. Rati I was using shade discovery foundation from diana of london. I had purchased it from their counter in a mall. But now that one is closed :waaa: Hey can you find out where can I get diana of london products in pune or mumbai?

    1. diana of london is available at the new beauty centre stores across the city, there is a beauty centre in crawford market, and have branches in khar and kandivali too. they stock diana of london products. you can find their numbers in local yellowpages, they also have a website, call them and see if they stock what you need.

  5. I agree with Rati. The dream matte mousse worked like a charm for me, but i know many people who hate it too. I guess the best would be… revlon. MAC is very good too, especially their concealers.

  6. i tried the dream matte mousse by Maybelline but it’s not worth it, it looks pasty and doesn’t rub into the skin well.

  7. most good foundations that rush to my mind now are expensive, but fret not there are some super cool options out there.
I have oily skin, but here are some of my reasonable buys that I am happy with,

Lotus herbals 4 in 1 stick is actually foundation in a stick form. If you have dry to normal skin this is your product. if your skin is oily , then you should use powder to set this. I set this with a transclucent powder (Lakme Rose Powder) you could set this with a compact too.

Maybelline dream matte mousse needs to be mixed with a drop of moisturiser to prevent the fallout it gives. All you need to do is mix a bit of moisturiser and the foundation on the back of your palm , blend well and apply. I mix this with Lotus Alpha moist which is an oil free moisturiser. You can use any moisturiser or cream that suits your skin type.

Also when using foundations that are not super expensive, just prep your skin with some toner and/or ice water. it will prime your skin for a better application. expensive foundations often even out the skin with built in primers. but priming is not too tough a job , so foundations under 500 can be a good buy too.

If you need a light coverage then lakme daily wear souffle is good too. it is oil free and goes on nicely. i find myself needing to set it with powder though, or it doesnt stay long.

  8. thanxxx to allll…………u alll r doing greatttt job ……just luv ur reviewss
