Freeman Barefoot Lemon and Sage Foot Scrub Review

Freeman Barefoot Lemon and Sage Foot Scrub

I think I don’t need to start with a paragraph about pedicure and foot scrubs. Straight away, there are two variants available in Freeman Barefoot Scrub. One is peppermint+plum scrub and the other is Freeman Barefoot Lemon+Sage Foot Scrub, which I got after a little searching on stores to use as well as review to complete the range on IMBB.

Condition of my feet: The day I started my Engineering studies at university, my feet had all kinds of sandal strap designs sponsored by uncle sun, in collaboration with my all time roaming in sun without any kind of sunscreen. The current situation is I keep walking bare foot on marble in winters, so my heels are terribly cracked, dry, and flaky but I hope I will improve them soon.

My experiences with Freeman Barefoot Lemon and Sage Foot Scrub:

Packaging is a simple white flip-open tube, which doesn’t close properly. The end of tube is toe shaped; it’s kind of a cute idea. I expected some overwhelming citrus fragrance from the scrub, but I am disappointed; it has a sort of chemical smell!!!

The texture is a mean of gel and cream (more on creamy side) and the consistency is very appropriate; neither thick nor runny which makes spread evenly and easily on damp feet. A small amount covers the desired area. It contains small pumice granules, which give a nice feel during massage and effectively remove dead skin from the upper surface of the foot. The granules are mild and not too concentrated, so the scrub is not abrasive or harsh. However, I feel they are insufficient to remove calluses from heels.

Coming to the performance, it takes around two minutes for a foot; so the scrub is a time saver. It surely leaves my feet clean, with a smooth feeling and bright skin. It didn’t dry out my feet even in this cold weather.

Overall, I appreciate it for it does some improvement to my feet.

Repurchase & recommendation:

Hmmm, though I have a love hate relationship with freeman barefoot lemon+sage foot scrub, but overall I am not rating it as a skip product. I will repurchase it again if Himalaya Foot Scrub is not available. But still, I am in search of a high performance foot scrub. Any suggestion girls!!
