Freeman Body Salt Scrub Guava Review

Freeman Body Salt scrub Guava

Hello Ladies!
Freeman Body Salt Scrub Guava

I am going to review a product from Freeman today. This brand is well known for the amazing facemasks. I especially love their chocolate and strawberry face mask 😛 Just a couple of months back, I hauled like tons of freeman stuff from an online shopping website. This was one of them.

Description:
Get velvety soft skin that begs to be touched! Sea Salts scrub away rough, dull skin as tropical Guava and Vitamin C replenish moisture. It’s a so-smooth feeling you’ll love. Perfect for all skin types.

Directions: Gently massage over body using circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Use two times a week or as often as needed.

My Experience with Freeman Body Salt Scrub Guava

The packaging is really thoughtful. It comes in a tube form unlike many other which have a tub that makes them a bit gross to use. The green tube feels so tropical and it is sturdy. By the wrinkles on the tube, you can make out how much I did squeeze it and it is almost empty now.

The product has big salt chunks in it, really grainy but it is not that abrasive on the skin as it also has ample amount of oils. It feels like salt mixed with some oils. As you use this, the salt particles go on dissolving and they become smaller and smaller eventually.

It exfoliates the body really well, and at the same time doesn’t make your skin feel dry in spite of being a salt scrub, which might sound strange but, the credit goes to the good old Almond oil that it contains. I am very sure no body can deny the benefits of our Almond oil for the skin.

The only thing I hate about it is the smell. The smell is really strong. It smells like guava with lots of salt. Smell of guava is not my personal favourite. Plus, I find that in the shower, my whole bathroom smells like it.

Anyways moving on, I would like to mention, salt scrubs are really good for people who suffer from problems like back acne or break outs on other parts of the body. So this is really going to help you. Also salt provides a hyperosmolar environment for the various bacteria, so the bacteria, which thrive causing acne, are all eliminated. This is why salt scrubs are amazing. In addition, because of the big particles, it is great for removing callus from various parts of your body like elbows knees, knuckles around the foot etc.

This has Vitamin C in it, which is known to play an active role in collagen synthesis in the body.
I don’t like to use this on my face as I think the coarse grains may cause irritation. Otherwise I feel this is a great product.

Pros of Freeman Body Salt Scrub Guava

1. Good hygienic tube packaging
2. Sea salt scrub with almond oil, nothing should beat that.
3. Exfoliates really well and leaves you with soft and supple skin.
4. Helpful for the conditions like backacne, callus etc
5. Huge tube which is going to last you for quite a while if you are going to use it almost regularly like I did.
6. Relatively inexpensive
7. Freeman products are now easily available in beauty shops and also online.

Cons of Freeman Body Salt Scrub Guava

1. Coarse granules might not be suitable for the sensitive areas like face, neck and chest regions.
2. I am not a fan of the smell, but that again is a matter of personal preference.
