Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Mud Mask Review

Hello Beauty Conscious Ladies!!!

I have been looking high and low for an affordable face pack because I don’t have guts to spend $60 on a tiny pack of algae mask. I came across these Freeman masks in my local Walmart and although they are not very large in quantity but they compensate cost wise. Read further to know my experience with it.

My take on Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Mud Mask:

I prefer ready to apply face mask because they are perfect for beauty conscious people who have time crunch and cannot devote hours on a rigorous skin care regime.Packaging: Product comes in plastic sachet, the way we get samples of lotions and moisturizers. It has to be cut to get the product out, however, I didn’t cut all the way through; just a small ‘V’ cut to get small quantity out at a time.

Texture:
it claims to have velvety texture which thankfully it does. It’s very smooth to apply and does not stretch or pull even after drying. It has a very thick consistency and to ensure ease of application, I mix two dollops of product with little water and apply evenly on my face and front section of my neck.

Color:
Muddy charcoal color; reminds me of gooey mud at swamps or Lake Bottom.

Efficacy:
The product is meant for normal to dry skin; however, it can be used on all skin types since it does not stretch or pull. It dries within 10-15 minutes – depends on if one dilutes it with water or not. It’s easy to wash off since it does not cling to skin like dried fuller’s earth (Multani Mitti) and once off face there is no need to rush for moisturizer, since it is not dehydrating like most face masks I apply. I was happy with the end result – my face was squeaky clean and soft, skin was not stretchy or dry and apple of my cheeks and nose tip had a pretty glow.

Conclusion:
I am very satisfied with this skin care product – it lives up to its claims and I absolutely love the ingredient list (except Urea, I wonder why a face mask has to contain ammonia based product).

• Does not sting or burn
• Dries in 10 to 15 minutes

Cons of Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Mud Mask:
