Freeman Diamond Mineral Rinse Mask Review

Hello all,

I like to treat my face to the luxury of a mask every now and then and I love how we have the option of travel-sized masks from Freeman and other companies as this gives us the ability to try new masks without breaking the bank. I recently picked up the Freeman Diamond Mineral Rinse Mask and no points for guessing what caught my attention 😛 it was the “Diamond” in the title. I quickly flipped the packet around to read the ingredients and found “diamond powder” listed. And then I decided to try this one out. Read on further to find out how this mask fared.

Ingredients:

My Experience with Freeman Diamond Mineral Rinse Mask:

Packaging:  The mask comes in a small foil packet which makes it very travel friendly. Those of you who have already used Freeman masks would recognize this to be the standard packaging. Some of their other masks also come in bigger tube packaging, however, this variant does not. The packaging claims that it has enough contents for 2-4 applications, but it lasted only for 2 applications.

Texture:  I was very curious to see what this mask looked like given that it claims to have diamond powder in it. And honestly, I was a bit underwhelmed to find it as innocuous looking as a simple white cream.  I chided myself for my foolishness; what was I expecting it to be? A sparkly, glittery concoction? And would I have really put it on my face had it been so sparkly and glittery? So, after I had overcome my initial disappointment, I proceeded to apply it on my face. On a more serious note, the mask is of a creamy consistency (due to Kaolin) and has minute exfoliating particles (pumice, diamond powder) in it.

Usage: As I do with other masks, I washed my face with water. Then, I applied a layer of the mask over my face. I massaged gently as directed and kept it on for 10 min. Finally, I rinsed it off with water.

My Experience with Freeman Diamond Mineral Rinse Mask:

The mask has a pleasant fruity fragrance which is not too overpowering.  The product is very easy to apply and spreads evenly on the face. You feel a tingly sensation as soon as you apply the mask, but it is nothing too strong or irritating. The exfoliating particles are not abrasive on the skin.  The mask is also easy to wash away.

I was amazed to see a very visible difference on my skin. It felt as if all the dirt and grime from my face had been peeled away to reveal a new radiant skin 🙂 My blackheads seemed visibly reduced. In short, my skin felt incredibly clean, smooth and refreshed. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and normal cheeks. I loved it that this mask did not dry me out.

  1. I have used quite a few freeman masks, they were quite average Manaswini, but this one sure is a very good one 🙂 Thanks for reviewing it 🙂
