Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil Review

Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil

Product Purchased by IMBB

I have been so intrigued by the constant hype over facial oil and I’m really grateful for IMBB to allow me to try my first beauty oil! I’ll be completely honest, before trying this product; I never understood the huge fan following over facial oils. I simply assumed that any oil we had laying around in the kitchen would do the same job as these “special” facial oils. I was wrong. I have normal skin, but the area around my mouth is always VERY DRY and flaky, ack. This product not only provided me relief to my dry areas but did much more 😉

My Experience with Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil

When I took the container out of the box I was super excited. I love products in glass bottles; they always feel super fancy. There is a dropper to take the oil out which is nice to avoid a sticky mess. The smell of this oil is very different. I have never smelt anything like it before; it doesn’t smell bad though. The best way to describe it would be an herbal, earthy Vicks vapor rub smell (but not as strong). Personally, I liked the smell and it didn’t last that long on the skin. The oil itself is clear, and very runny, it’s thinner than the consistency of olive oil. The bottle say to apply 1-2 drops on to the face…I found 4-5 drops was needed.  Applying 4-5 drops of this product will make you look very greasy and better applied at night. If you are someone with extremely dry skin, I would recommend adding 1-2 drops of this oil to your everyday moisturizer in the morning for a boost of moisture!

I applied this oil before I went to bed for the past 10 days, and all I can say is that I LOVE it. I wake up and my skin feels plump, smooth, and moisturized! I usually always have to apply a cream around my mouth area before it starts looking ashy and dry. With this oil, I don’t have to use a cream around a mouth! I noticed the dehydration lines I would get around my mouth and under my eyes look less noticeable. I personally am now a facial oil convert, especially a Seaberry oil convert!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has dry skin or even normal skin. Not only did this oil moisturize my skin, but my skin texture has improved greatly. I can say this because I usually always apply a face primer before makeup to get a smoother application, but last weekend when I went out I noticed my makeup went on so smoothly without a primer! YAY!

  1. Excellent review Shruti…. I hav not used any facial oil per se till now… I use pure argan oil on my face when it feels especially dry… Will definitely hav to try this one out

  2. I make my own facial oil (a blend of sunflower and castor oils) and yes, my skin texture is very much improved when I do use it regularly. I use just 2 drops all over my face before bed. My skin type is dry-normal.

  3. …whoops I hit ‘Submit’ by accident 😀 Nice review, Shruti! Facial oil IS amazing for dry skin that flakes! 🙂
