My Experience with Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15:

I have used the Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment and totally loved it. That was a sheer tinted lip balm and this is their non-tinted version with SPF 15 in it. These are the best super luxurious lip balms I have ever used.

It comes in a tube with screw cap, making it purse friendly. It is not going to open or soil your purse if you carry it with you. This lip balm has a mild citrus scent to it and slight sweet taste. The scent is not overpowering at all.  The texture is slightly thick in comparison with other lip balms like EOS or Maybelline Baby Lips.  Due to this thick and creamy texture, it glides on the lips very easily and all we need is just one swipe.

As I mentioned before, this is a clear lip balm and it gives a nice glossy shine to the lips. I share my non-tinted lip balms with my husband on the go, but this one is a little too shiny for his use :P. I have pigmented lips, but still, I like the shine that it gives. Also, it reduces the appearance of lip lines instantly. I do have a lot of lip lines and I like this particular feature of this lip balm. This stays on the lips for 3-4 hours and keeps lips moisturized even after the shine is gone.

I always have a lip balm in my car. While other lip balms get harder during winter months, this one stays smooth and would still need just one swipe to cover my lips.  Having said that, I don’t leave this lip balm in the car during summers, as it would become very soft and might break during application, but it is still okay to carry it in the purse during summer months though. Just make sure not to expose to direct heat.

This lip balm gets used up pretty fast. For the price of $22.50, this will become an expensive habit if you get used to it.  I usually use this during the day and my EOS during night or when I’m at home.  These lip balms come in an array of colors. So, if you need a slight wash of color, you can pick one from the tinted range. If you just want lip protection and shine, you can pick this non-tinted lip balm.

Final Word:

This performs just like the Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip balm, but I like the way Rose shows up on my lips. I might buy the Rose again instead of this, as I would at least get a wash of color for the money I am paying.
