Today, I am going to review a “miracle argan oil cream” from FX Moroccan Moisture.  I am always on the look out for hair care stuff that is easy to apply and takes little time. When I spotted this, I wanted to try as this mentions Moroccan argan oil. A lot of hype has been around this beauty potion, so I picked it up.

Price:

Rs. 495/- for 177 ml.

Packaging:

The cream comes in a yellow plastic bottle which is very sturdy and has all the details on the body. The dispenser is unlike the flip-tops or pump style. You need to pull up the top to give way to the cream. Considering the consistency of the product, this dispensing system is ideal; for home and travel.

Texture:

Though the product claims to be cream, I would like to name this creamy-gel. There is absolutely no greasy or oily feel. I take a pea-sized amount on my palm and apply mostly on the areas where I tend to get frizz the most. The trick in this case is less is more. If I take more of the cream, it tends to turn the hair crunchy and the point of application has to be precise. I applied it once on full hair coming from the tips to the root and it gave me really flat hair. If super frizzy hair is your concern, you can definitely apply more.

For me, this works better on dry hair.  On damp or wet hair, the product tends to vanish.  My frizzy hair gets tamed immediately on application and I can dare to keep my hair open. There is no extra shine added to my hair which might seem a con but there is no claim regarding shine and hence cannot blame them. I do not have split ends and hence cannot comment on how it works, but I guess once you get split ends, you have to chop them off – nothing can put back the ends together.

There is a lovely fruity smell to the cream which lingers on for a while. It will not bother sensitive noses, rather gives a refreshing feel to the hair. On the days I skip head bath, I depend on this for quick fix. Works really well as long as frizz is the concern. If you are looking for a treatment product or overall health improvement of your hair, then this might not be the best product.
