My Experience with Garnier Body Under The Shower Ylang Ylang Body Lotion:

When I picked this product, I had in mind to use it in the summer that would come in another month or so. It has been shining bright from last week and the temperatures are a little warmer and thus I decided to use and try this! It has a difficult name and it sounds like a Pokemon character to me! 

The product comes in a shiny light green sleek bottle with a dark pink nozzle cap. The cap is not very tight and is pretty loose. I checked with all the products in the range but it was all the same. But the product doesn’t leak considering the fact that it is an inverted bottle. The lotion is creamy white and has a thick consistency.

The fragrance is very fresh, floral and addictive. It does linger around for quite some time after the shower. It is not as strong as Monoi lotion but it gives the same effects. Ylangylang is a yellow flower and essential oils are extracted from it and are used to cure lot of issues like acne, dry skin, brittle nails, hair loss etc and incorporation of this in the lotion is an added benefit.

When applied on the body, the creams glides smoothly but does not get absorbed by the skin. I leave it for a minute and rinse off the product. When rinsed off, the product gets cleansed well and with the very next touch you can feel that there is something on your skin. The skin is soft and very smooth to touch. I have been using this in the evenings after a day at work and this perks up my mood immediately. The skin can be left lotion-free after the rinse and the skin is soft and hydrated for a good 4-5 hours but after that you need to apply a lotion.

My skin is very dry and thus I start to get an itchy feeling with the dry skin. I have been using this for my heels and they are turning smooth as well. I have tried it as a shaving cream once but it was not a good choice as the lotion got stuck in between the blades. I have mixed it with sugar and oats and applied on my body and this is the best exfoliation and hydration the body can get. My skin feels softer than ever after this step. I am in love with the product. The under shower range is surely a good line introduced by Garnier. Do try it and you will feel the difference!
