My Experience with Garnier Clarifying Cleansing Gel for Combination to Oily Skin:
I have been using the Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash for over a year now since I had started getting acne last year and it had really helped in combating the same. When I saw this on the shelf and read that it is parabens free, this was an instant buy. The face wash comes in a bulky squeeze tube form and this was the only size that I could see and is available, so that makes it less travel friendly. The tube is a clear one so that you can see the amount of product left in the tube. The face wash is in the form of clear gel and has got very nice & fresh smell that of moringa.
This face wash gel is meant for combination to oily skin, so it is a boon for oily skinned beauties, especially in summer. It contains the extracts of green tea which is detoxifying and moringa which gives an amazing fragrance to it. The gel foams really well and you need very tiny amount to cover your face and neck. This foaming cleanser is just as gentle as the cleansing lotion, whilst still very effective at removing oil, dirt and the last traces of makeup that sometimes makeup remover is not able to. It doesn’t strip my skin of moisture, yet it leaves it feeling really clean.
I have combination skin and it did not dry out my skin at all. In addition, its pH range has mild germicidal, anti-irritant and antimicrobial properties that help treat breakouts and also helps reduce irritation that could be caused by other cleansing agents present in the product. The product contains coco-betaine, an ingredients derived from coconut, that acts as a foaming agent and surfactant, gently cleaning the skin by helping water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed off.
While the product works really well for people with oily skin, it is not recommended for those with dry skin. Other issue that I have is the runny consistency of the product and you end up dispensing quantity more than you required. Otherwise, it is an excellent go-to cleanser for oily skinned beauties.
Pros of Garnier Clarifying Cleansing Gel for Combination to Oily Skin:
• Smells amazing and very fresh of moringa
• Has the goodness of detoxifying green tea
• Cleanses really well, removes even last traces of makeup
• Does not dry up skin
• Helps in combating the breakouts
• Parabens free
• Clarifies skin and removes excess oil
• Makes skin shine free
• Very gentle on skin
Cons of Garnier Clarifying Cleansing Gel for Combination to Oily Skin:
• Not suitable for dry skin
• Consistency of the product is too runny
• A bit expensive
IMBB Rating:
4.5/5
