Garnier Essentials Nutritive Care with Vitamin Cream

Garnier Essentials Nutritive Care with Vitamin Cream

By Laxmi

This is my first article for IMBB and I am really excited.

After spending a few years in Saudi, my skin has changed from oily to combination type. Last winter, my nose and skin around my lips went super-dry, but the other areas remained normal and rarely oily. Really, “bad skin,” in Jomol’s words. 🙁

Garnier Essentials Nutritive Care with Vitamin Cream

As my skin is quite sensitive, I fear to try new products.  General purpose creams like Nivea are heavy on my face, Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture didn’t help me much. I did not know much about moisturizers as I had oily skin and used only a few of them.

When I was searching for moisturizers, I got really confused with so many known and unknown brands in the mall where I visit often.  I came across no particular product for “dry and sensitive” skin type except for this one. With less hopes, I bought this as regular Garnier Moisturizer didn’t suit me much.

This cream is thick in consistency. It takes some time to get absorbed, but I do not feel greasy at all and the skin gets hydrated instantly.

Nutritive Care

This is a day cream.  I applied it religiously every morning on those areas which were dry. To my surprise, within 3-4 days, skin around my lips started looking healthy. It became too soft and I couldn’t control myself from touching it often. Within the next weeks, dryness went off completely on my nose too and it turned smooth.

Nutritive Care

But one cannot expect glowing skin or something extraordinary out of this cream, it does what it claims.  I will continue to use this as the weather is dry and really unpredictable, sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
