Some of us go to beauty parlor to get the look and some of us use of styling products available in the market. I love styling gel and serums a lot. In this range, I use some 2 to 3 styling products depending on occasions. Today the light is on Garnier Fructis Pure clean Styling Gel.

My views on Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Styling Gel:
It says whatever style you want it can be achieved with this. But it does nothing like that. Texture of the product is transparent and runny. Once I apply it to my hair it gives a nice wet look. That’s it. After a few hours my hair become so rough and rigid like a broom. I really felt bad on using it. This gel gives out a strong fragrance too and gives a heavy lemon like smell that doesn’t go well with me.
I have long Hair. That means lot of gel which in turn is a big problem. The more I use this it makes my hair messier. When I tried to blow dry with this, my hair did not move at all instead became so dull and bulky.
I was really surprised with the zero flaking and zero residue claim. I thought extra strong will actually stay for a longer period but this product did not work for me. It disappointed me big time because it did not help me in hair styling at all.
After thinking a lot, I came to a conclusion to use it in some way. As soon as I come out of shower I use it and apply it. By this way hair doesn’t tangle a lot and easily I am able to comb my hair during hair drying.
Pros of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Styling Gel:
• Gives a wet look. That’s a only positive thing I can say about it from my experience.
Cons of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Styling Gel:
• Very greasy and leaves your hair messy.
• It doesn’t help in styling.
• Strong smell.
• Contains Alcohol.
• Zero flaking and Zero Residue claim not true.
• Doesn’t add any shine or value to the hair.

No No No. I am wondering how I am going to finish this one. I have other styling gels too but I did not want to waste this so keeping it with me for the time being.
Would I recommend Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Styling Gel?
A big no. Please never go by the 24hr clean hold, extra strong claim.
