Hope you all are doing good, buying new makeup and exploring new dimensions in life. 😀 Today, I am reviewing a hair care product. We all have different hair woes; everyone aspires for perfect hair. Well, I had almost perfect hair, but I didn’t care about them and they took their revenge. 😛
Want a smooth look and frizz-control that lasts? Get the ultimate sleek. This formula with argan oil from Morocco and apricot soaks deep into frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair to smooth each strand.
Proven to perform:
- Get 10x smoother*
- Stay sleek for 3 days*
- Even in 97% humidity*
In a combing test and a frizz test when using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine System of shampoo, conditioner, and anti-frizz serum, compared to a non-conditioning shampoo. Smooths and adds shine to frizzy, unmanageable hair.
How To Use:
Apply a quarter-sized portion to damp or dry hair. Use fingers or a comb to distribute throughout hair. Do not rinse. Perfect for everyday use. For the sleekest look, style using brush and blow dryer.
My Experience with Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum:
The packaging of Garnier Fructis sleek & shine anti frizz serum is simple but sturdy and user friendly. The eco-friendly bottle is made with 30% recycled material, is light green in color with a dark green pump. The pump can be locked and hence the bottle can be easily carried while traveling. The pump has to be rotated clockwise for unlocking it.
The serum is transparent, doesn’t have any color and has a runny, oil-like consistency. The fragrance is awesome. It is fruity kind of smell and stays in my hair for a couple of hours after application. The serum leaves my hair soft, smooth, shiny and smelling awesome. It also helps in detangling my hair.
I use one pump of the product in my thin, past shoulder length hair. Using more makes my hair a bit greasy and weighs them down, but then, the quality totally depends on your hair type and volume. The amount shown in the swatch is the amount of serum that comes out in a single pump. It doesn’t cause any buildup if used in right quantity and washes out easily. The serum seals my split ends and leaves the frizzy ends soft and shiny.
The serum is easy to work with and can be used on wet or dry hair. I prefer to use it on my damp hair as it gets absorbed easily when my hair is damp. On the other hand, it makes my hair greasy and weighs them down when I use it on dry hair. I also used it with my blow dryer with two pumps instead of one when I am planning to blow dry my hair. After blow drying, it leaves my hair sleek, shiny, healthy looking and gives the salon effect. The effect stays in my hair for 2 days. Even on the second day, may hair looks sleek and shiny as the previous day. 🙂
It also reduces static in my hair which happens a lot in winters. The serum contains argan oil, but I do not see any difference in the quality of my hair. I have been using this serum for almost a month now. The effect of the serum stays only till the next hair wash.
Pros of Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum:
- Tames frizz and the effect lasts for a whole day.
- Makes hair smooth and shiny.
- Doesn’t weigh hair down if used in right quantity.
- Easy to apply.
- Awesome fragrance.
- Travel-friendly and easy-to-use packaging.
- Contains argan oil.
- Easy to wash off.
Cons of Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum:
- Makes hair greasy if more quantity is used.
- Does not make any long term difference to hair.
Would I Repurchase Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum?
This serum is value for money. Since a little goes a long way, this bottle is going to last me long and I may get bored of it. So there is a possibility that I might not repurchase this again. But this serum does a good job and is worth trying out.
