Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Fortifying Shampoo Review

Hello Beautifuls,

Garnier+Fructis+Volume+Extend+Fortifying+Shampoo+Review

Hope all of you are enjoying the cool and refreshing rains. We are surprised with hide and seek game of mighty God sun and naughty clouds. Everyday, we shiver with almost 120- 170 F downfall of temperature in the morning and by the noon suddenly, the mercury rises upto 340 F.  We usually wear sweaters and socks till noon and afterwards we are seen in shorts and skirts, sounds weird, but its true, gals 😛 Even Aadya also shivers in the morning and recently we noticed red bumps all over her body due to the sudden change in temperatures.  God knows when we will get to live well-defined summers and winters.  I never experienced such drastic weather in my life I swear.  Anyway, today’s purchase is once again my HG shampoo Garnier Fructis New Volume Extend Shampoo. Don’t know why but my hair always loves Garnier hair care products and hence I do not have a single reason for changing my hair care brand. Even I keep on trying other brands, but my hair and my mind always ask me to go for Garnier, can’t help! Please read on further to know more about this new fortifying shampoo from Garnier Fructis.

My Experience with Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Fortifying Shampoo:

As I always say, Garnier is our HG family hair care brand. I have used many versions of Garnier from acerola berry extract to avocado essential oils as I love to try different fruit flavored products for hair and body.  This particular shampoo is fortified with lemon, cucumber and papaya extract which are known as great products for oily skin.  When I read their presence in shampoo, I was absolutely thrilled to know the benefits of using them on hair. I used to have oily, thick hair before pregnancy, but after becoming a mum, my hair has become literally thin as I suffered terrible hair loss post pregnancy.  Moreover, sudden fall and rise in mercury levels have triggered other problems such as dry and frizzy hair.  My previous Garnier shampoo was serving my purpose well but after finishing off its huge bottle finally, I laid my hands on this baby as my thin hair demanded extra care.

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Fortifying Shampoo 6

Let me tell you in the beginning, I usually mix 1 part of shampoo in 4-5 parts of water, hence I never suffered from any issues with regards to the chemical ingredients in Garnier shampoos.  What I like most about this particular volume extend shampoo is that it never steals away the natural moisture from my hair even if I use it without oiling my hair every alternate day.  Needless to say, it is mild on hair.  I never experienced dandruff or dry scalp ever since I started using Garnier for 2 consecutive months even when temperature is playing drastic game here. Moreover, my hair is tangle free and I did notice some slight volume in my hair after using this shampoo. However, the bouncy voluminous effect remains for 10-12 hours, not whole day as it claims, but never mind, I am sure it will surely boost up my hair strands with continued use for a few more months. I have noticed healthy black shine in my hair along with softness while combing or making different hairstyles.  Now, I see less hair on my towel and dressing table which is the best part of my experience with Garnier.  I never used any conditioner after shampoo because I never felt the need to do so.  I got soft and smooth hair in just one time, but I will try homemade conditioner recipes from IMBB.  Overall, its a fantastic product once again from Garnier, which not only cleanses scalp keeping it dandruff free completely, but also, provides healthy shine and nourishment to hair which is well visible just after a wash, believe me.  I feel I am hooked onto Garnier even more after using this new volume boosting shampoo.

garnier new shampoo

Let’s sum up the pros and cons:

Pros of Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Fortifying Shampoo:

  • An ultra light shampoo fortified with goodness of lemon, papaya and cucumber extract.
  • Available in travel-friendly sizes as well as full family pack.
  • Cleanses scalp mildly, keeping it dandruff free in just one wash.
  • It is very mild on hair even if I use it on hair before oil treatment.
  • Also cleanse oil treated hair completely in one time wash.
  • Hair feels shiny, soft, bouncy and voluminous for good 10-12 hours after wash(however I feel shine and softness for 2-3 days.)

Cons of Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Fortifying Shampoo:

  • Does contain chemicals such as SLS (however I use it in dilute form, so not a con for me exactly).

Well right now, I don’t have any con in my mind for this shampoo as I am on my way to finish the second bottle. I am loving this new lemon, papaya and cucumber extract enriched shampoo. Its perfect for summers, though we are far away from well -defined summers right now 😛 I believe this is going to be my all-purpose shampoo this season till winters arrive. I would say just give it a try, you will yourself see the results and love it simply.

See you soon beautifuls, take care 🙂
