Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I am reviewing Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion.
Do you moisturise your body’s skin every day, but feel that it becomes quickly dehydrated throughout the course of the day, leaving it feeling dry and rough?
Garnier Intensive 7 Days Replenishing Lotion with Nutritive Mango Oil is enriched with natural-based Mango Oil and L-Bifidus*, inspired by probiotics, which have been selected to meet the specific needs of dry skin. Its moisture-binding formulation provides hydration so intense you will still feel it for up to 7 days after the last application.
Silky, nourishing texture is non-greasy & fast-absorbing
Tested on sensitive skin – Colourant-free – Not for use on face

My Experience with Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion:
This lotion comes in a green bottle with a white flip cap. It comes in various sizes – 250 ml, 400 ml and 700 ml. The 700 ml bottle comes with a pump dispenser. The bottles with the flip cap are more convenient for travel. The cap closes tightly and you can take it in your travel bag without worrying about spills or leakage. The hourglass shape makes it easy to grip and hold the bottle.
The lotion is white in color. It is neither very runny nor very thick. It spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed quickly, if you apply a thin layer. This works fine for the summer months. But I find that applying a thin layer does not moisturize my skin completely during the cold winter months. So I have to apply a very generous amount of this lotion to get through the day without feeling any dryness. The disadvantage is that when I apply too much, it also takes much longer to get absorbed into the skin. But it does get absorbed completely and there is no greasiness left behind.
The body lotion has a very pleasant scent. It does not smell exactly like mangoes, but there is a pleasing fresh scent. The scent lasts through the day. After using this lotion continuously for 7 days as it claims, I do find my skin to be softer and hydrated. But, I guess that is the case with any body lotion! As long as you use it regularly, your skin remains in a good condition. But Garnier goes one step ahead and claims that once you have used it regularly for 4 weeks, skin still feels moisturized even 7 days after your last application. I do not find this to be true. Maybe 2 days, at the most. Definitely not beyond that.
Pros of Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion:
• Fresh, pleasing scent
• Moisturizes well and lasts through the day
• Non-greasy and lightweight formula
• Gets absorbed quickly when a normal amount is applied
• Travel friendly packaging
Cons of Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion:
• People with dry skin might not find the moisturization sufficient
• Does not live up to the claim of keeping the skin moisturized even 7 days after your last application
Would I Recommend Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion?
The Garnier Intensive 7 Days Mango Oil Ultra-Softening Lotion is a good option if your skin is not too dry and you like light, fresh smelling moisturisers. But, if you prefer intense moisturization and like thick body butters or lotions, then you should skip this.
