Here we review the Garnier Men Deodorant Mineral – Extreme Cool, which is being endorsed by Bollywood actor John Abraham.

Product Claim: This is actually an antiperspirant with 0% alcohol and with active Mineralite – an ultra-absorbent mineral that naturally and continuously absorbs perspiration.

This review features the ‘Extreme Cool’ variant.
The claim goes: “EXTREME COOL: Specially designed to give an instant cooling sensation with 48H protection. Its aromatic fragrance gives you an intense freshness from the 1st application & all day long.”
Review: The deodorant comes in a black and green macho looking can, with the words ‘EXTREME COOL Intense Cooling’ in a stylish font. However, the description and usage instructions on the back of the can are a bit difficult to read due to the black background.
The cap is easy to remove and put back, and the spray button is also easy to use.
The directions to use are to shake the can and then spray 15 cm from your underarms soon after you have showered and dried. This product was used by my husband who has sensitive skin. He didn’t experience any irritation at all. The ‘extreme cool’ claim seems to be justified as he felt very cool and refreshed after spraying it.
This deodorant has been found to be extremely useful during hot summer days. The cooling effect and fragrance lasts all day long and leaves the skin feeling fresh.
However, during cooler days, when the temperatures drop, the cooling effect of the deodorant can feel a little uncomfortable on the underarms. Excessive spraying can also lead to a whitish layer on the skin, but does not stain clothes.
This deodorant is also available in another variant – Absolute Dry.

Verdict: A must have for summers! The perfect antiperspirant for summers and other hot days. The lasting cooling effect and fragrance also make it ideal for situations where you might have to travel for long without having time for a shower or change. Leaves you feeling fresh always!

Hi Praseena, yes, the fragrance is quite strong. Garnier also has a women’s version of the same deodorant, offering 48 hours protection. I might do a review of that soon!
