Many of us would prefer wipes for travel and holidays as they are very convenient to carry and use while micellar water or makeup removers are favoured for regular use. I was looking for a good micellar water for long. As I have oily skin, I was looking for a product which would suit my skin type hence I picked up this bumper product – Garnier Pure Active Micellar Water All-in-One. My Experience with Garnier Pure Active Micellar Water All-in-One:
Garnier Pure Active Micellar Cleansing Water is packaged in a transparent teal oval bottle with a white flip top. It comes in 400 ml and it is designed to cleanse and purify the skin without rinsing. It is a fragrance-free product and claims to be used 200 times (based on 2 ml per cotton pad). However, if you are using it on stubborn or waterproof products, like mascara, smudge-proof kajal or layers of contouring, you would definitely need more than 2 ml. I have tried St. Ives Cleansing Wipes, Garnier Express and Daily Essentials Two in 1 Makeup Remover, and these all were fabulous. And, thankfully, this is a delightful product again.
I have an oily skin and I am an eye makeup fanatic. I love to spend my time experimenting with various shades of eyeliners and eye shadows. However, once I am done for the day the big task remains to remove the makeup efficiently and conveniently. And, to my rescue, Garnier Micellar Water works well for me. This is certainly an effective product which pulls out dirt, makeup and excess sebum (oily secretion) easily, cleanses the face and doesn’t leave any residue. It doesn’t irritate your eye area and it is a non-greasy solution (which all oily skin beauties demand).
It perfectly works if you are in a hurry. It cleanses the skin quickly compared to other makeup removers. It usually takes around 3-4 minutes to purify the skin and get rid of every part of makeup from your face. The good part is that your skin is neither left dry nor wet. It mentions that rinsing is not required, but I would undeniably recommend using a face wash to make your skin feel fresh, neat and clean. Be it a dark black kajal or volumising mascara, matte lipsticks or rainbow eyeshadows – every piece of cosmetic stands weak when you use this product. Yes, it does take time while removing heavy makeup, which is logical. Oh yes, it’s gentle on the skin and doesn’t lead to any breakouts, red rashes or skin bumps.
When it comes to removing heavy makeup, many of us start scrubbing the makeup remover products against the delicate skin with the intention of removing the products swiftly. However, we don’t realise that it actually harms our skin. A little bit of patience and that’s it; you will get your desired result. It is always suggested to remove the makeup very softly and steadily; just spend a couple of minutes more! Anyway, back to the review, yes I do prefer and use scented products every time, but then for this product, it’s completely fine. It is dermatologically and ophthalmologically (no irritation around the eye area) tested and there are no parabens either. So, overall, an absolutely a brilliant product waiting for you at the store.

Oh, come on! This is an effective micellar water which is here to stay for a long time. I highly recommend. This will last me at least 4-5 months. In case I don’t encounter any better product, I will continue buying Garnier every time.
