My Experience with Garnier Skin Active Clean+ Pore Purifying 2-in-1 Clay Cleanser Mask:
The cleanser/mask comes in a handy tube packaging with a black plastic flip top cap. The black detailing in the tube is in sync with the presence of charcoal in the product. The details about the product are mentioned on the back of the tube. It is pretty travel friendly even though it’s 150 ml as you get the benefits of 2 products in 1.
The texture of this mask is creamy and spreads well on the skin. As a cleanser, only a pea-sized quantity is enough to get a super clean and foaming wash to the face. As a mask, the quantity required is pretty less as it spreads well and is recommended to apply only a thin layer of the product. it smells super fresh and menthol-y which gives a burst of freshness every time I use it.
Coming to the effectiveness of the product, it works like magic on the skin both as a cleanser and as a mask. The presence of menthol in the product gives a burst of freshness and the charcoal takes away every bit of dirt and grime from the face. It is ideal for my skin type as I like something that gives me squeaky clean face; moisturizing is something that cannot be skipped as it is an oil-free product and will strip off moisture.
As a mask, it instantly imparts a cooling sensation which is a bliss considering the season we are in. It dries up pretty fast and the cooling feel stays on as long as the mask is on. It is like a typical clay mask which dries up on the skin making it difficult to even move a muscle; I am quite okay with it as it serves the purpose of a clay mask in purifying and tightening the skin in the process. For me, it is a clear winner, especially for my skin type. If you have oily/combination skin, do not miss out on this.
