My Experience with Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash – Combination and Sensitive Skin:
Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash for Combination and Sensitive Skin comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a green colored pump. I picked up both Micellar water and cleansing gel from the same range for enhanced benefits. The green pump denotes that the product is for sensitive skin. The pump has a lock mechanism and hence, the product is a travel-friendly one.
Since the bottle is a transparent one, you can check the amount of product left inside. The cleansing gel looks transparent and has a gel-like consistency. It has a very mild fragrance, which is not bothersome. Only 1 pump of the product is sufficient for cleansing my entire face. The gel lathers quickly and effectively cleanses the face, removing all the dirt, oil and makeup. It adds a soothing and refreshing feel to the skin immediately after washing. It doesn’t cause any irritation to the skin and also doesn’t dry out the skin, which is a huge plus for women with combination and sensitive skin.
The product doesn’t cause any breakouts, which is great. It doesn’t sting my eyes when I use it to remove my eye makeup. The product adds a beautiful radiance to the skin; even though it is short-lived, it gives an assumption of a cleansed face. The product effectively removes waterproof makeup including mascaras and eyeliners. Like its counterpart, the gel doesn’t work for removing the stains caused by bold red lipsticks, which is not a bothersome (at least for me). After using this cleansing gel, I follow it up with a toner. My cotton pad looks almost clean without any makeup trace, which is great. The gel also makes the skin soft and smooth. Considering that the product is paraben free and is a better alternative to the cotton micellar water, this product is certainly a must-have.
