My Experience with Garnier Skin Active Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Wipes:
The wipes come in a yellow colored pocket with a flap sticker on the top. The hole is pretty small and the adhesive sticks well making it inconvenient to take out the wipes. I wish they made an alternative to this and used a plastic flip cap like the L’Oréal one because, over the time, the wipes and the adhesive wear out with constant opening. The wipes are soft and have tiny bumps that help in gently exfoliating the skin. The wipes are fresh and have a pleasant smell.
When used on the face, it gently removes the makeup and dirt without leaving a greasy residue on the skin. The wipes do not dry out the skin and the oil infused in the wipes makes it act like a gentle moisturiser. The wipes do make the skin feel soft and smooth and it soothes the skin. I prefer to follow it up with a splash of water after using the wipe.
The wipe doesn’t cause any breakouts. While it effectively removes makeup, I have noticed that you need to take a little effort in removing the waterproof makeup. I prefer wipes that gently removes the makeup and especially around my eye area, I do not want to keep rubbing vigorously as it irritates the sensitive skin around.
As you can see in the swatch, I have rubbed the product for several times and only when I applied some pressure, I was able to remove the waterproof makeup. In this case, I feel that the wipes are a disappointment. Micellar water wipes are great for my skin and I loved them but, this one with infused oil isn’t good. It is definitely a magnet when it comes to removing normal dirt and impurities but for waterproof makeup, it doesn’t work at all!
