Garnier Skin Active Volcano Face Mask Review

Face masks are a great way to pamper your skin and I tend to use one every weekend, just to experience that ‘feel good factor’. Here is the review of one such affordable mask from Garnier. Garnier has launched a few masks in the ‘Skin Active’ range and I purchased five of them. So, let’s get started with the review of Garnier Skin Active Volcano Face Mask.

Product Description:

How to Use:
• Apply on clean and dry skin.
• Avoid eye and lip areas.
• Leave on for 3 minutes, then rinse.
Ingredients:

My Experience with Garnier Skin Active Volcano Face Mask:

This wet mask comes in a small sachet with all instruction printed on the packaging. The product is creamy and slightly sticky in consistency. It spreads well and smoothly on the skin. The product is brick red in colour and feels warm when applied on the skin. The fragrance is mild but fresh. I used it on a cold day and it felt so good on the skin. The warmth was really needed and I loved the feel of it.

I applied a generous amount of product on my face, avoiding the eye and lip area. As soon as I applied the mask, my face started feeling warm. I have sensitive skin and was a little worried at the beginning. But the mask didn’t feel itchy or prickly. So I continued the application. The mask feels more like a toothpaste and does not dry. It’s suggested that the mask has to be kept for 3 minutes and then washed off with water but it took me almost 3 minutes to carefully apply the mask.

I love the process of applying masks and hence it takes long. So I decided to keep it on for some more time and then I continued with other chores and forgot about the mask. When I realized it was almost 20 minutes. So I rushed to wash the mask with lukewarm water. The product washed off quickly and my skin looked really bright and clean.

My skin normally feels dry after using any clay mask, but with this, I went on without applying anything on my skin for 5 hours or so and it didn’t feel dry at all. The product is supposed to contain volcanic rock and vlay which help in minimising the pores. My skin looked good the next day, too. There is still enough product left for one more use and I plan to repurchase this mask for sure.
