I have used a lot of Garnier products previously and they have suited my skin very well. So I picked up this cleansing gel long back and used it during summers when my skin becomes very oily. I have already used half of the gel, so let’s start with the in-depth review of this cleansing gel from Garnier!

My Experience with Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Shine Control Cleansing Gel:
Packaging: The cleansing gel comes in a see-through bottle which is filled up with light black liquid. It looks very attractive and the black colour resembles charcoal very well. The cleansing gel has a nice label over it mentioning all the details. The bottle is really big but handy enough to be carried around. It has a pump nozzle which is very convenient to use. It has a lock system which makes it even better for travelling. A very little quantity gets used up at once, so this totally goes a long way.
Consistency and feel on the skin: The consistency is like a gel like the name says. It is not very runny but might drip from the hands if not handled carefully. It comes in light grey colour which resembles the presence of charcoal. It feels very gentle on the skin and foams up very well too. It gives a very nice cooling sensation on my skin which refreshes the skin and the senses too. It has a nice mild scent which lingers for a while.
Results: The cleansing gel cleans my face very nicely getting rid of all the impurities, oil and shine. It keeps the shine away for a few hours and my face remains matte too. It turns oily again during summers after 4 hours or so which is natural. It is also effective to take away light face makeup. It is really good for the oily skin and I felt fresh from the first use itself. My skin looks brighter initially. It felt soft, smooth and bouncy. I did not notice any difference in my pores but that is okay since I wasn’t expecting it. It takes away all the excess shine and makes my face look matte. It makes my skin dry at times so it is the most suitable for very oily skin or for oily skin during summers. I won’t prefer using it during winters because my skin does feel a bit stretchy. A good one but there are cheaper drugstore products available!

Yes I might! I have always liked Garnier for my skin so yes either this or something else from Garnier is worth a try! You can go for it if you have oily skin but yes we have cheaper options available.
Conclusion: Would love to try more stuff from this range!
