Last few days I have been pampering my hair with Garnier Ultra Blends range. I have two variants from this range, Revitalizing & Intense Repair. I have both shampoo and conditioner from this range and the combination works really well on my hair. Generally I don’t prefer Garnier hair care range a lot but this new range is really a nice inclusion by the company. Today I am going to share my take on Ultra Blends Revitalizing Shampoo. My Experience with Garnier Ultra Blends Revitalizing Shampoo:
Packaging of this range is super attractive; when I was noticed it on my local super market, I quickly picked this one along with conditioner. I am not sure if it is available everywhere yet; I couldn’t find this online. Anyway, the packaging looks really tempting and nice. The shampoo comes in a light green color flat plastic bottle with a golden cap. There is a leaf mark on the cap which looks so pretty. All the details are nicely described on the bottle; also the bottle never leaks and cap closes tightly. I find it to be a nice travel-friendly one. I really like this fresh cute packaging.
This shampoo contains the benefit of 5 precious herbs like, lemon, henna, green tea, aloe and eucalyptus. All the ingredients are great to keep hair fresh and clean. And due to the presence of these amazing herbs, it smells lovely. I can smell a strong fresh lemon fragrance which is so good. I can’t explain how much I like this strong pleasant fresh fragrance. It makes my hair smell good for long and also reduces my stress with this great smell.
The shampoo comes in normal medium texture, it is more on the thinner side and it glides smoothly on hair and scalp. It lathers perfectly with small amount of product for my long hair. It is also easy to rinse. It looks lightly greenish in color which indicates the present of herbs. Basically when I first used it on scalp it felt so instantly refreshing; it gives a very smooth application.
I have really oily scalp with quite normal hair. This shampoo cleans my scalp and hair deeply. It removes all the dirt and oil from the hair. It is a good shampoo for evening wash. I love to take shower in the evening as it really cleans my hair after a long polluted day. It refreshes my hair instantly. But it is not good for dry itchy scalp, as it reduces sebum, hence it might make dry scalp more rough or itchy. But it is perfect for oily hair and it also cleans my oiled hair nicely.
I can feel my smooth hair while washing. After drying my hair normally, it looks more polished and soft. It adds a nice healthy shine to my dull hair. It actually revitalizes them. My hair looks fresh and smooth. It provides frizz free silky hair. It is easy to detangle my hair after shampoo and my comb goes smoothly through the hair. I always use it along with the same conditioner and the combination keeps my hair tangle free and manageable.
But individually this shampoo is not so effective to control frizz for long. After a certain time period my hair becomes frizzy. So it needs a conditioner to lock the ‘smooth’ effect. But it provides soft hydrated hair and it brings back life to my dull hair. It keeps my hair oil free for long and it keep them bouncy. But it can’t provide huge volume to them; still I am happy with the freshness.
Overall I really like this shampoo as a daily shampoo. It cleans well and gives smooth soft hair. It never makes hair dry; also I haven’t noticed any extra hair fall. I love its amazing fresh smell. But it can’t repair serious damaged hair or if you have super dry scalp then don’t go for this. It is a nice refreshing shampoo for oily scalp and a perfect budget friendly option to go with as a daily shampoo for summer time.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Garnier Ultra Blends Revitalizing Shampoo?
It suits on my normal/oily hair perfectly and if you want a good refreshing daily shampoo then you can try this out. But don’t expect too high from this if you have super damaged hair or dry scalp.

I really like the packaging! But sadly Garnier has never worked for me. I had severe hairfall after I used long and strong shampoo, so I won’t give this a try.

Yeah, Garnier shampoos always make my hair super dry. I think this is the only garnier shampoo range which works on my hair.. 😛
this shampoo is not at all good!!my hair doesnt feel refreshed! it looks very dull 🙁 otherwise i have beautiful shiny hair,but whenever i use this shampoo my hair looks dull as if i dint shampoo from 5 days!
