A regular salon in a strip mall charges at least $50 plus tips to get a gel manicure done. This is the starting price and increases as one migrates towards a fancier spa than just a regular saloon. I coveted gel nail polish look but spending $50 every two weeks is a bit too expensive and unjustified for me. I do not like the wear time and overall performance of a regular nail paint. Even the more expensive ones by high-end brands do not last more than a week and definitely lose their shine in a matter of days.
