Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara Review

Although there are plenty of mascaras claiming to make your lashes voluminous and long, it can be difficult to find the one that is perfect for you. The Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara’s slogan says,”exceptionally volumizing mascara, drop dead seduction in a single stroke.” There are two types of mascaras in this range, regular and excess. I purchased the excess one from Sephora.

Claim:
This mascara contains “The fusion of a Wax™ Complex and the new texturizing agents creates a fluid and creamy texture that glides onto the lashes and allows for an easy, homogeneous application.”

Price:
$32 (0.22oz) I bought mine at Sephora and I ended up getting it for $26 because of a summer sale.

I believe the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara does exactly what it claims to do. At first, I was a little unsure of about making this purchase because it is a little on the pricey end, but then it was so worth it. This is one of my go-to holy grail product that I will never leave behind. I do like quite a few other mascaras, but I think this mascara surpasses my YSL one too. The best part is that it is waterproof and is perfect for India’s hot and humid monsoon season. I have actually been using this mascara for about a year now and I have never thought about switching to a different mascara. Although I do sometimes layer it beneath my YSL Faux Cils for a slightly more dramatic look.

The consistency of this mascara is so rich, black and creamy that it applies an even coat onto your lashes, avoiding the much dreaded clumps. It separates the lashes giving them a natural look. It gives wonderful thick and full lashes without weighing them down or creating clumps between the individual lashes. Your eyes will definitely look more awake and they will pop after applying this mascara.

This amazing mascara gives you noticeable yet natural looking volume that stays all day long. It does not flake or smudge throughout the day, which is probably my most favourite quality. I absolutely hate reapplying makeup during the day, so I usually opt for makeup that is waterproof and has an ultimate stay formula of some sort.

The only downside is that it might be a little difficult to remove without makeup remover. But, definitely make sure you remove all of it before going to bed because there definitely have been times, when I woke up with the mascara all over my pillows.

The Applicator:
The applicator is unevenly shaped for optimal use of the product as well as coating your lashes evenly.

Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara gives length and volume to the lashes making them bold and a little intense. It is a little too expensive for the small amount of product, but this does last a long time because of not needing to reapply it all the time.

Would I Recommend Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara?
YES! YES! YES! This is the perfect mascara and I do not think I will be ditching this one for a while. It will always remain stable in my makeup collection. This mascara always manages to give me flawless lashes that I always get complimented on. Pair it with eyeliner on your waterline and you are set to go about your casual day.
