My Experience with Giorgio Armani Fluid Master Primer:
It’s a silicone-based primer and it’s a transparent primer. It comes packed in this black-colored tube which would stand straight on your desk. This primer also comes with added benefit of UV protection. It’s a transparent, silicone-based primer, so it gives a very amazing smooth finish to the skin. It does not have any color, so it does not mix with the color of the foundation.
This primer doesn’t have any flashback. It gives a nice base for the foundation to go on smoothly. It keeps the foundation very fresh and makes it last long. It makes the appearance of pores a little small, but it’s not like a pore-minimizing primer. If you have larger pores, you can use a specific primer that would minimize the pores. It still smoothes out the skin very nicely and really makes a difference to your foundation.
If I have to pick up one primer which has been my favorite from 2017, this would be it! It’s quite an expensive primer, but honestly, it’s totally worth every bit because it really makes a difference on how your foundation looks. I have used it with different foundations and the best and the most beautiful thing about this primer is that it does not ball up. A lot of times when you use silicone-based primers, they tend to ball up if you rub them up or if you are applying foundation on top of them.
This Giorgani primer just stays and makes makeup foundation look good. It does not clog the pores, it has never broken me out. It gives a semi-matte finish to the skin, not like a luminous finish. It’s not completely matte, it’s not very luminous and it’s like that basic good product that you need in your makeup routine that would make your makeup last longer and would make it look good and keep it fresh for long. It is that product that you have to have in your kit.
I would say it is best for people with normal to dry skin, not for people with oily skin because it has this gel, almost like a semi-oil texture. It kind of glides on the skin and my skin feels a bit hydrated after using it.
I just don’t know what I don’t like about this product, I love everything about this primer. It has definitely become my go-to primer every time I do my makeup. Also, it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and hasn’t broken me out.
